Whenever I am watching 'Mandate', it feels like I am reading a Danmei. And that's because of the plot. Just like danmei, 'Mandate' is a drama with a BL as a subplot. It's a BL with a story.

Lol, I disagree with what you said when it comes to outside GMMTV. Outside GMMTV, we have a number of gems as well. It's just that they are scattered amongst different agencies. At the moment, I can think of To Sir With Love, IFYLITA, Khemjira, Love in the moonlight, Century of Love, Jack and Joker, Top Form, Reset, Shine, Gelboys, Spare Me Your Mercy etc.

Some of these might not be gems, but they outshine most GMMTV BLs we've been getting these days in terms of acting and plot.
