This is very slightly spoilery but just for scenes, not for plot...
Ep 3, I can't explain why a ludicrous dance scene gives me so much joy, but it does. (Unlike a ludicrous musical/singing number - yep I am inconsistent) The tropes in this are just so silly, funny and kind of joyful. [I'm talking about you ridiculous pool scene, with hair flick and near drowning; amongst others!]
I'm in too! But this premise is not entirely unprecedented:1997 - Liar, Liar - Hollywood movie starring Jim Carreyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1no75lpOiw…
I thought your first comment was sarcastic 😁but it's kind of lovely that it wasn't!
Surely this is just Korean nationalism at play. PPL is a standard of Kdrama, so pointing out its usage here is laughable and is just further advertising of the cars. The real problem is it's not a Korean made car, not that it's PPL.
Ryan Gold is frequently lauded in drama articles, as a 'green flag' boyfriend because he supports her fangirl status. I feel like this massively underrates him. He is a green flag, because he tries to support her in a lesbian relationship (albeit a misunderstanding) in a culture where this is STILL not protected by anti-discrimination law. Clearly, he has COMPASSION - the ultimate green flag attribute.
I haven't watched this yet, but i don't understand what you mean. Aren't they a couple? Isn't there meant to be…
I understand where you're coming from, but for me, for my community, moving forward, I see the only way is for 'active enthusiastic consent'. Then there is no grey area of, "I didn't ask for consent, but they didn't say no..."

Yes ask in some way, every time. If this is annoying then you're with the wrong person. Yes skinship is essential but it should be mutual and respectful. Otherwise aren't you forcing your own needs on someone else?! It's simple isn't it? In a healthy and happy relationship, you should respect the other person's boundaries and you should want them to be happy and feel good. If you don't, then you are with the wrong person.

Yes I would. "I find Oh My Ghost", for example, very disturbing! And yes, you should ALWAYS ask permission. ALWAYS! Clear, enthusiastic consent is a must. This comes down to being clear, that the person you are having skinship with, is wanting that. You should want your intimate partner to be happy and comfortable. Pressuring someone else, to meet your needs is just wrong to me. How can the 'skinship' be good if only one of the participants is enjoying it?!
In this show, the skinship is presented as him being quite domineering and forceful, and her showing discomfort but acquiescing. I understand that some people find this 'a thing', but I find it disturbing and I worry it sends a confusing message of what is acceptable.
There is plenty about this show, to like, so do go ahead if it sounds like your thing,, but for me, the skinship scenes are not it.

Taiwan does it again!
