Just a thought, but his obsession with the past and him at times getting stuck by constantly being pulled into…
I agree, he's an epically terrible father. You can have compassion for him with his depression, but I agree it doesn't excuse him from parenting. I-Na is extraordinary, without her superpowers, when you consider her lived experience.

Thoughts about Dong Hee: when she started getting closer to Grace and broke up with her boyfriend she began to…
I agree too. I find it frustrating that 'disordered eating' is generally represented by obesity, in Kdramas (and elsewhere); but the opposite end of the scale (sorry for the tasteless pun) is as much of an issue - anorexia nervosa and bulimia rates are serious and concerning in SK.
It's a relief to see this show take a more measured view and portray a subtly broader story.

Isn't everyone!? 🤗

Just one example of the many, many things NOT available on Netflix in my region.

It would never happen in dramas; otherwise, how would they drag out the story? It also makes the drama enjoyable…
But the comments here are pretty firm that the 2ML is toxic. So your generalisation isn't working for this show.

Ahh KiBaek. I'm so glad it's not just me, who contemplates life on the rocking-horse springy-thingy, at children's playgrounds ☺️😂

For me this drama is “coming soon” on viki. does that mean i’ll only get to watch it when it ends?
It's available in Australia on Viki too. I agree, try the reset. Failing that...try a vpn 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for reminding us of the historical context. Exactly because of this context, I don't understand what…
Fair points! Maybe to Machurian China 🤷‍♀️
We fill in the gaps to keep suspending our disbelief

Probably a newbie translator. S/he still doesn't know when to translate because it's culturally understandable…
I had unreasonable hope when they left "Yudori" as self-explanatory, but oh well...

Because in English they say 'cheese' when taking a picture not 'kimchi'
Yes, thanks for explaining the obvious, but that is exactly my point! It doesn't actually require an explanation thankyou! As I said, we are not idiots!

Title Missing Crown Prince Spoiler
For everyone who is struggling to suspend their disbelief, at the difficult plot, just a reminder: This is Joseon era, and linked to "Bossam Steal The Fate". Women were chattal, at best, and were expected to follow the newer interpretations of the Analects of Confuscious I.e. neo-confuscianusm. Women's rights were significantly eroded compared with the Goryeo period.
Widowed women were NOT allowed to remarry, but rather, expected to follow their husbands into death Your family could be rewarded by the Crown (big financial rewards) if you killed yourself, to follow in your husband's footsteps. Did none of you watch " The Story of Park's Marriage Contract" or "Knight Flower"?!?
And if you were raped? Definitely kill yourself! Did none of you watch "My Dearest"?!?
The Queen Dowager, absolutely cannot have a lover At that time it was considered a far worse moral crime, than suicide. And running away?! How exactly is the most famous woman in Joseon - The Queen Dowager - meant to do that?
My rant is done. *deep sigh*

I'm enjoying this drama more than I expected, ML is such a walking meme like he always makes me smile like stupid…
Agree about Singles Inferno! And I'm weirdly more invested in this dating show - I actually fist pumped when the ML made the connection with the female contestant in the "Loyalty" scene 🤣

I find the 2nd hand embarrassment from this, so much easier to deal with, than in SI too. Reality TV is excruciating IMO

As this show progresses, I am further in awe of Go Kyung Pyo. His ability to physically express one set of emotions, whilst verbally expressing the opposite, is so compelling for me. And Kang Ha Na is perfect!

This show is my life saver at the moment - Light and fluffy is all I can manage RN. And this also has enough underlying pathos to make the characters' relationships more realistic and engaging.

I really like this drama, just one question… Is Woo Joo a mom ? Did Jung Heon the dad ?
As far as I can tell, yes, Woo Joo is a mum, to a young boy. It's pretty evident in the first 2 eps. Not sure why others are saying no.
