I do agree with you on that. If they write FL's character like this initially, it wouldn've been great if she…
Julia is not working for me in this show. And even though I don't find her charismatic I think making her endearing with a good writting would have helped it a lot.
Yeah. Although both have their own strengths and weaknesses, imo, the cases here are a teeny bit over the topπ ,…
So yeah bringing it here is weird in my opinion their cases-solving scenes = shells to sell a mid romance costume idol drama that needs the hosting streaming platform to inflate its data. Only for that latter information I think the fans of that BBL'ed drama shall refrain from bringing their show into TWD topics (I see that same sh.t over there at rednote) as well).
I was looking at the numbers of The Wanted Detective earlier on rednote and "OH EM GEE" not promising at all. This is even a total tank so far. Hopefully it can recover but if it doesn't and stays tanking like that I hope it will be a lesson for the scriptwriters and director that they need and reset their minds on how to write a female lead character. Now we are in a time where the domestic hits got female leads like Xue Fang Fei in "The Double", Li Ming Ye in "What a good girl" (micro drama) or Rong Yu in "great-grandma return 1 & 2" (micro drama). The Julia Xiang type is getting less and less trendy.
Anyway on TWD I can't wait for your review later on π
