Now I understand why Wang Xing Yue was lowkeye frustrated about the editing of the wedding scene and even more, one could feel a lil frustration when he said there is only 1 kiss scene in the drama and probably didn't count the "others" (yeah wasting time on riddles or f.cking showing candle during a kiss scene). That filmmaking team is totally stupid or blind to what really elevates their material.
As much as I dig "The Double" I think I will avoid that director's works in the future. How can you kill your own momentum like that ? 0 time management skills whatsoever that is infuriating !

The show is fast paced, there should be able to cover the rest of the plot points hopefully 🤞
They should have started their official dating phase in episode 26 since they have to get married, there isvthe rebellion to suppress, the war, XFF grieving etc... they are wasting time !
They have a lot to squeeze into the remaining episodes.
Time wasted on Jiang family antics. They should have made XFF and XH a dating couple by episode 26 instead of to waste time on JYR and her scumbag fiance.
There are only 14 episodes left. They need to cover a lot of cases linked to the palace, plus the leads (rushed) dating then marriage life. *sigh time management = the biggest problem of cdramaland.
