I do think it's a plot hole and that there were actually many :D Like most games with masters seemed to be their first, max second. Queen of spades had only few players in her team, while if she was winning for some time already, she was supposed to have a huge band with her, as the bigger team always wins.
But for those masters whose flashbacks we saw - none was from the same square where meteor landed, so none of them seemed to come to the borderland because of the same accident. Also, those two guys who survived Jack's game and decided to stay in borderland - they will become citizens, masters - so who will they play with if this world is only a dream shared between the meteor victims?

If you liked "Go Ahead", then maybe some other Chinese dramas by the same writer will suit you too, "The day of becoming you", "Hi Venus" and one is airing now "Meet yourself" and it could actually be exactly what you are looking for, if they don't ruin it with some drama at the end ;)

For me it's not a shared dream, but a supernatural place where you get under certain circumstances, like heart stopping. That's why it has people who got there before main characters and those who will be there after them.

No, main characters mentioned their heart stopped, that's when they go to borderland, but time flies differently, and the moment of death in reality takes as much time as needed in borderlands to play as many games as you want.

Zhao Zhi Wei (villain here) has actually some nice dramas with him as ML, and he is a good kisser. I watched "Well dominated love" and "You are so sweet".
Recently aired "Hi Venus" from the creators of "The day of becoming you", I liked it a lot.
Maybe also try "Use for My Talent", I watched it recently and it was ok.

As I understood: there is "borderland" between out world and death. You can't call it illusion, it's like a place where you stay and play games (time probably goes much slower there, than in reality), and then there are 3 options: 1) you die in games and probably die in reality; 2) you win and choose to stay in borderland as citizen and probably until you lose you are in coma in reality or something, but if you choose to stay, you can't go back to life ever again; 3) you win and choose to leave and go back to reality.
This borderland is for all people, not only those who were in the accident with our main characters.

Well, humor, nice editing with some fun effects, working environment being actually used for the plot and characters being actually interested in their work, one cute couple and one hot couple, and likeable secondary characters, really good pacing and fast reveal of secrets in the first episodes (then everything slowed down indeed). Cliches done right, meaning that instead of feeling frustrated you feel amused or happy or proud of the characters. Also, I personally really liked many little moments when main leads observed each other and corrected their behavior if their partner was not happy about something. In many dramas characters just don't notice that they make their partner sad, and some dramas even consider this funny.
That's what I liked 😉

When girls switched for the blind date, none of them was in the relationships. SFL obviously would never ask her friend to go on a blind date instead of her if FL had a boyfriend. Also, imagine boyfriend's reaction if she would.

It's just for 2 episodes. It does feel a bit off, even in comparison with how the rest of the story is written. But it will matter that while being in the village FL behaved differently from how she behaved in the city, it's a part of her story.

Mixed feelings. Did I get some bloody and tense games? Yes. I don't remember 1st season well, but I remember being a bit disappointed that games were quite simple. This time they were more inventive, bigger, some reminded me of Liar Game.
Did I get some fun new characters? Yes. KING OF CLUBS 😍😍😍. Some participants of Jack game. Queens were ok. King of Spades was fine. Creators were again able to create some bond between random characters and the audience, so that I didn't want them to die.
Did I get some satisfying development for old characters? Well... 😁 I didn't really see the point of bringing some 1st season characters back, if the same story about the new characters could be equally good. Also, Arisu was kinda one of the most boring characters in 2nd season.
Did I like the ending? Nope. It just lacked some deeper connection to the events of the game world, and also the final episode was damn slow.

Eh, what happened at the end of game 2 (Jack game with Chishiya)? It was forbidden to use psychical violence or kill other players but is seems it's exactly what happened?..

First game was fun, I mean the one with King of Clubs 😍. But the problem with team games is always the fact that you know which team will win, if your main characters are in one of them. But at least not everyone survived.

Beginning of ep 1 has really a lot of bullshit, our main characters being literally bulletproof while not doing anything different from other characters who die en masse. Ok, ok, will consider this just as a big opening 😁

Yes, FL's friend and ML's assistant, but while they meet a lot, they will decide to date like at the very end.

I think Douban is quite unfair to dramas with traffic stars, often making ratings fall, but for smaller dramas it's quite fair. And to have there rating above 8 while airing - it's a lot!

I think it's a great result in a battle with much popular stars and much bigger promotion. So just enjoy and don't think about the charts.
Or maybe this will make you feel better: "Meet yourself" rated 8.1 on Douban, "Flight to you" - 6.5.

Idk, comic part was a bit too much, I lost focus sometimes and was just checking my phone while watching. Ma Tan, baby boy, just keep fighting 😁

I saw LHY in another drama, and honestly the plot and supporting cast saved him there too.
