Ep 2: that moment when she came to barista girl! I squealed as well 😄 Business side of the story is super exciting so far.

Just watched the first episode and mostly liked it. FL is very cool.

Ah, it's hard to think about the same personality, because with the change of setting, everything else changes much as well. From those dramas I watched lately I liked the ML in Mr Bad.
Oh, I think the ML in 'Under the power" has a bit similar personality, grumpy and seemingly cold, but you can still read him as an open book 😁 But that's a historical drama with detective plot.

Go go squid (it's similar also by gaming theme), Sweet Teeth, Mr. Bad, Use for My Talent.

I see that comments are very good and hope it's gonna be good till the end, and then I'll binge watch the drama, cause I just love how warm and sunny the ML looks in clips, and I am so tired of cold MLs.

Ah, I see now why DT had no development in "Go go squid"... I clicked a few episodes in the middle, but although I like Li Yitong, I think she has totally different vibes than original Appledog. Original one was badass, and had amazing chemistry with DT even though they just shared a few words and looks, so I am unlikely to watch this.

So, I would give ML a 9.5 rating and only about 5.5 to the FL 😁 Idk, why this drama has a title with FL's nickname, as it's actually ML's story mostly, his passion, his pain, his growth. They mention it briefly in one of the final episodes, that FL kinda dissolved into ML, it didn't matter what hobbies and abilities FL had, as they were just used a couple of times in the first half and didn't influence the plot. Maybe it's exactly what ML needed, such absolute devotion?.. But it's just not the type of FL which I like.

Anyway, I think ML's biggest love was Solo, and damn these two guys had fantastic scenes together, amazing chemistry, and when ML finally forgave him, I cried like a baby 😂 I saw Solo actor in several dramas and this role would be my favorite of him so far, he was glowing! I also liked the story about his daughter, I think in recent popular dramas such issues are rarely shown, as if they don't exist in China.

Another highlight were K&K boys, and their relationships with the ML. They were actually not afraid of him, no matter how scary he tried to look, but they were afraid to lose his respect, to see him disappointed. What a beautiful bond.

Finally, and it's again about the ML, he was so great in never allowing anyone know their true story with the FL, as it would be embarrassing to her. His boys could easily start teasing her, but instead ML silently agreed to be teased, to be an object of jokes. And the way he modified their story for her parents - god, that was such a bold lie, but it did help everyone to feel better, so... go go, Gun! 😁

I find him very sexy in general, but especially in "My little happiness" (there he also got rejected but he was actually a very cool character, kinda "all green flags" ) and "Truth" where he might be evil, I haven't yet figured it out 😁 as haven't yet finished the drama. I really hope that he gets a solid love story for his character one day 😒

Ok, the family dinner in ep 7 was funny, what a mess 😁

I didn't like that SML and SFL got back together, I think they hurt each other so much, that their relationships couldn't be fixed.
And I didn't like how main leads were a bit separated in the final episodes. After everything ML went through - would he really want to be alone and solve everything by himself? Knowing how much she misses him - would he really go away instead of staying with her and starting their new road together? Meh.

Finished, and it was really good. I liked how they used drawings in their cases, it was really creative. Maybe they should have added light romance, there were characters who could have it ;)
Hoping for season 2.

I've just started, found this because of high rating and hot ML :D So far the CTF competition story is intriguing and quite exciting. Don't yet like the FL, this "stunned" type of heroines is so frustrating, and she is supposed to be smart, ehh.
In general, I like the trope "a girl pursuing a guy" and many things FL did in the first episodes would be viewed as ok if it was a guy doing them for the girl he liked , but I think it gives cringe vibes, because she acted as if it's the love of her life. If she was less serious about this affection, it would look so much better.
So... for now I ship ML with Solo guy :D

Ah, the drama with bold Liu Xueyi... 😁

This was sometimes nice and sometimes weird. I didn't really like the ML, he lacked charisma, and during ~8 episodes his character seemed to be not a nice person at all. Their bickering with the FL was a bit meh in the first part, but when they got together it became nice.
I kinda liked relationships between FL and SML, and how he just couldn't really harm or use her, even though he wanted.
Another thing which I liked was about how people change with years, and how much they are influenced by decisions they make. A friend for whome you sacrificed something in the past, betrays you. Another friend whome you betrayed in the past and who became your enemy, stands by your side in the darkest times.
What I didn't like: (will write in comments under spoiler tag)

They die in an absolutely epic way! Everyone in this drama dies in an epic way, I must say. And fights' CGI is very good for cn dramas. Don't worry, 99% of good characters will be somehow brought back. But there will be a character which will not and that will hurt, but please know that in the novels that character is reborn too 😁

Thanks for the rec! I actually watched some scenes from YAMG last year after it aired, but it seemed boring. And recently I was struggling through "Love designer" for several weeks and not ready for something else with Dilraba right now, cause she has quite calm screen presence in all her roles. I have to wait for the right mood :)

Saw trailer on youtube, would be nice to watch a drama in the airport setting. But Liu Chang... I assume an annoying love rival, right? Damn :( Such a hot gut will be wasted again :D

Found this drama because I wanted to see Tan Jian Ci in something else after "Court lady", where I basically hated his character but couldn't deny he was handsome and his acting skills were good. First two episodes already got me hooked! Good cinematography, interesting set up for the conflict between the main leads. Will continue.

Yep, FL will soon become a responsible goddess, ready to fulfill her duty as a god of chaos. And then everyone dies 😁 and will be kinda reborn with a different personality for a certain period of time. Many viewers liked those second personalities much more than initial ones, and I personally really liked FL's second personality, she was serious, stubbon and brave.
