I actually also liked that Wu Huan did not just turn evil, but viewed world a bit differently, because she was humuliated and probably bullied during a long time. She didn't agree to help that Snow b*tch at once, and was conflicted about her suggestion. But I see many people already hate her, and I assume that's because of creepy vibes the actress gives 😁 I wish creators would be able to keep that duality until the end of the drama, but I am afraid she will just become more and more angry at everyone around without good reason. I hope one day chinese scriptwriters will dare to create grey characters, who stay grey during the whole drama, and who don't turn neither to villains nor to fluffy softies.

There is indeed no explanation, at least I don't recall any. He had to sacrifice something to save XHX and Liuying, but why demand was to marry XHX and protect her during three lifetimes - there is no good reason for that 😁 I guess it's a part of the genre - characters have to go through dramatic tribulations/trials which very rarely have any logical sense.

No problem, many people here already shared such opinion, I don't hate ML, but I agree he could do better. He is nice in comic scenes though. I blame mostly director and scriptwriter for major flaws.
Yes, second couple is bird and Luofeng master, I guess if they were first couple, we would be annoyed as hell at certain moment, but as second couple they are just perfect, all their scenes are very good. And ML in scenes with Luofeng master also discovered he could act, not just stare into space 😁

Most of us here watched this for second couple 😁 Generally the story moves quite quickly, covering 4 lifetimes in 36 episodes, but the problem is that main couple gets stuck in a loop of music scenes with memories in each lifetime, which was boring. Script/storytelling is not that good in this drama. Fast forwarding helped 😁 Second couple's interactions were fun to watch, cause they were always with humor, but also quite exciting in romantic way. I know there are many ppl who liked the main story too, so if you give it a chance, who knows.

For me he is more like awkward and not talkative, but not really cold. There were quite a lot of tiny smiles from him, and I don't have issues with seeing his emotions. And when they communicate together with other three gods, he doesn't feel to be the coldest, I don't find Zhiyang to be much warmer. I would even say Shanggu in certain moments seems to be more cold-blooded, especially when she is angry or sad - she talks as robot 😁 , but at the same time she smiles more often and more openly.

I assume that Tianqi and Shanggu will not remember anything in next life, until someone or something remind them or show them, also I noticed that they have two names in cast list, while poor Baijue has three. But will Tianqi be back soon, after events of tribulation of Chaos, or during third Baijue's life?... I guess Wu Huan's lie about Yuemi's death might me crucial to expose her as villain, so maybe Tianqi will not be back soon 🥴

I don't understand chinese unfortunately, but those few moments which were subbed, were really cute.
I never assume anything just from the fact that actors are nice with each other or have great chemistry, but sometimes drama couples do start dating....
I think for me, the moment when I felt something could be there, was when I watched bts of their first life punishment scenes. She was wiping his tears, and he just sat with his hands down and allowed her do that. It was... ahhh, adorable and quite intimate.

There is a chance we see Yuemi again 🙏. The actress didn't answer directly any of the multiple questions from fans about this.

Their scenes in 13-14 are probably the best in the series so far. It hurts, but I rewatched them a couple of times anyway.
Unfortunately, those who read the novel, told that Yuemi is not reincarnated there, I think there is just a hint that in future she might be. I still hope though that drama changed this 😭
