He was not a robot *_* The smallest actions were there from the very beginning! Who went to light the beacon to alert royal troops about situation in Youzhou? Who shared water with Shuyu? Who let Changge go three(?) times? Who sent Shuyu to Chang'an seeing that he was ill? All these happened before he actually fell in love.
Yuning's acting is very good! He can be both scary and heart-stirring. And funny :)

I also love that. In other dramas Changge could be thinking A'Sun is her enemy for like half of the drama, but here it took like 2 episodes max :D Or Leyan could be angry with Haodu forever, but after knowing new facts, she just asked him directly at the first opportunity.
A'Sun is a bit possessive, but he tries to always support his need to be with Changge with solid arguments :D

I think their best achievement is that they broke through the prejudice of traffic stars being involved and age difference between the leads, which caused a lot of hate even before airing and rankings fall in the first days of airing. The story is good, acting is superb, from main leads to side characters. Main leads are hot, all fans dying to see their kiss, haha. Second leads being one of the most popular second couple ever in cn dramaland. Hope indeed to see at least some of them together again in the future.

I really like the first leads, but all Haodu and Leyan scenes boost my emotions so much, that I rewatch them multiple times. That whole conversation in 42 is a masterpiece.

I couldn't believe it too. Haodu is the most selfless man here, but I hope he will actually develop some selfishness and will never ever give Leyan to anyone but himself after 42 :D
