What is everyone's favorite scene in the drama? Mine is Chang Ge walking out in the snow to surrender. It was…
Haodu and Sun "hostage exchange", and the whole fighting sequence before that. Sun vs Sheer fight. Battle of the temple. When Changge runs back to Sheer and Sun is angry and sad. Haodu and Leyan having their first ever evening together (when he then carried her to bed). Haodu vs Sheer fight and bedroom scene afterwards. Gesun street run and hug after it. Stop me!
I know Wei Shu Yu has become everyone's whipping boy but I don't think he is that bad. At least he is principled,…
I'll make my final judgement when he meets Leyan and Haodu after episode 42. I am kind of suspicious, that he considers Haodu unworthy, but if he doesn't, I'll forgive him all his sins.
I have my theories about that. In a nutshell, I think it was always there, like a seed germinating that hasn't…
Yes, I think he first was kind of charmed by her, but he didn't know her well, and she didn't know him probably at all, just seeing from afar. And when they were together before her disappearance... well, she was annoying on purpose and ruined his plans a bit, but some sparks were still flying around, haha. When he found her, she truly impressed and shook him. As for Haodu himself, only now I begin to understand, that he had inferiority complex all the time, which influenced his behavior a lot. In the first episodes his "act ruthless" mask was covering that. He obviously was shocked by his father's order to kill Changge, but didn't dare to object, because: who is he to object? Also, scene with Changge, when he tells his priority is only to find the seal and catch Changge and he doesn't care about Youzhou falling, because - who is he to care about bigger problem? He has his small job to do and wants to do it well. When he becomes closer with princess, he still doesn't dare to do things he wants to do, but at least he can help her achieve her goals, which he supports (mostly, haha, happy-ever-after with Shuyu not really), and that brings him a lot of satisfaction (with the exception of Shuyu).
Oh, fanfic yes! Please do write!) I haven't yet checked if there are any in English, but after the drama finishes, I would love to read some.
Episode 34: at last I found something good about Shu yu. :)That talk with LeYan about HD.. great job..
This one good thing he did :D I usually try not to be too harsh on him, because I actually think he is a nice dude, just with some flaws, but it's hard not to tease him, haha.
I really like how Haodu will later react on Leyan's question about this, unwilling to directly confirm he helped anyone escape while he was on duty :D It will be in ep 35.
So, I was thinking yesterday about why I love haoyan so much, and why it gained so many passionate fans quickly,…
Thanks :) Yes, very beautiful scene. And the one which will be in episode 42 (I of course watched all fans translations already) is so, so unbelievable good.
So, I was thinking yesterday about why I love haoyan so much, and why it gained so many passionate fans quickly,…
I like both cp, but haoyan just fuels my emotions so much, that I can't not talk about them)) Also, after ep 35 I wanna hug Haodu *_* Good to know that princess will soon do it for me :D
So, I was thinking yesterday about why I love haoyan so much, and why it gained so many passionate fans quickly,…
I also read about their scenes being written "last moment" and it's even hard to believe, because the dialogues are really good. The scene which will be in ep 42 - I couldn't believe how good it is! Gonna scream next week about it)) Bts are extremely cute! They had so much fun together.
I'll scream about Haodu and Leyan in comment below, because I am depressed after episode 35, and need some self-therapy,…
So, I was thinking yesterday about why I love haoyan so much, and why it gained so many passionate fans quickly, even before their story truly started to develop. I didn't know much about second lead characters, when I started watching this drama, but Haodu immediately caught my attention (with that music, who wouldn't). I thought: oh, this tough guy likes the princess, but probably has no chances. He will protect her and die for her, or something like that. And then I went to check on weibo discussions, also music videos appeared, some spoilers were licked, and WOAH, I understood this ship was actually sailing. The thing that I like most is how well their scenes are written and acted. It's like... you can have a general assumption about how the scene would go, but then you watch it, and it appears to be much better than assumed. Like when he finds her - standard trope would be saving her in some epic way in the last moment before someone kills her, but nothing like that happened. He found her devastated over kid's death, and the first thing she said to him was nothing like: "f*cking finally", but "I am so useless". It was beautiful and sad, and it was the moment when Haodu started to progress from liking her to loving her. Another special thing about them is that though fans already know about HE, and wedding spoilers appeared long ago, somehow it's still exciting to watch every their interaction, and they bring so many emotions! Like me being now literally in pain for Haodu after episode 35, although I know he is gonna be ok, but I am so emotional anyway. Yeah, Haodu... Men in these drama are brilliant, and Haodu is one of them, showing that men can be caring and supportive, asking nothing in return. He is ready to break his own heart to pieces just to make sure Leyan is happy and safe. And probably not the last thing, but I’ve written too much already, haha, is that actors have amazing chemistry, they both feel so young and totally not experienced in love, and making mistakes and saying wrong words and then making amazing things and saying the right words (and yes, Liu Yuning who is 30, feels like a young boy sometimes, and weibo ones had a very hot discussion if Haodu was as innocent as Leyan, hahaha). And I feel butterflies in my stomach during all their scenes, but especially when he carries her or hugs her, ahh, electricity. I am not sure if there will be a kiss or bed scene, but I find hugs in this drama being quite hot, so I’ll be ok if they won’t have such scene. I also wonder if they gonna say “I love you” to each other, or this drama is gonna stick to “actions speak louder than words”, which is actually a beautiful concept. If you read till the end, have a good day, dude.
Oh, Leyan remembering the good people she met on her way, I am in tears! But her father's shocked face, lol. Noooooooooooo,…
I felt nearly physical pain because of Haodu. What an absolute selfless love, he just wants Leyan to be happy. It was nice to observe Li Shimin being so pleasantly shocked because of how his daughter changed. Yes, I am still sad about Yaro, such a sweet guy(
Can someone spoil me about Leyan's father? Is he really evil? Did he really kill Changge's parents and took the…
It was Changge's father who plotted to kill Li Shimin, because of his raising influence. Changge's mother overheard her husband's conversation with another brother in episode 1. She alerted Li Shimin. There was a battle in palace and Li Shimin won. I haven't yet watched episodes about her mother's death, but Li Shimin didn't kill her for sure. So he is ok :)
