I would say for others to stop at ep 34 when Ruyi and NYZ found eachother and conclude it there if you don't have…
I stopped at ep 26. Can you please tell me what happened to the main couple and YY? I already found the spoilers for the other guards. That part is making hesitate to even start ep 27. I done think I will even watch ep 27-34 much less to ep 40.
Qian Zhao died from saving the emperor. Sun Lang from pretty much shielding YSS, when he was trying to kill Beipan…
Brother. Thanks for this. I stopped at ep 26 and wanted to catch the last 14 episodes at once. I will now rethink whether I will finisb tbis series or not.
I am just marathoning this the last 2 nights. I have just reached the raw episodes of ep 27. Viki has it to ep 26.
There are things here and there that irritates me but I am coming here to say how I'm insanely in love with the whole voice dubbing process. To the point that the romance is secondary to me. Its contrived and cheesy and the guy is perfect. I don't do the perfect rich guy who is super clever and rich. And happens to be a voice dubber.
But the whole process here has got me so hooked. There have been other dramas about people being a voice dubber including Bai Lu etc but the whole teams here and the camaraderie shown is making me swoon. I felt like a fan watching the concert in ep 27.
The whole actors being dubbed acting as dubber dubbing for actors doing cosplay actors made my brain explode.
And did I mention I didn't even notice OSTs until this drama? I normally pay attention to diction in Korean dramas as I used to help in Korean dramas on viki. However have not noticed Cdramas diction until now. I now understand why they want actors in the standard Beijing accents.
I wonder if real life voice dubbers are that good looking? And they all have 2nd jobs.
Anyway this drama has made me obsessively in love with it.
How? Wasn't the Princess his sister? Or did I remember the wrong drama? She was the Crown Princess of another country who came back after her husband wanted to kill her. And her lover.
Done. Massive amount of gratuitous fan service. No rewatch factor but certainly recommended for anyone looking for a romance drama. A light delivers the romance factor drama.
It went a bit OTT at the end but then I am not one of those super romantic sort of person but the male lead was doing his job.
sorry out of topic but your username seem familiar to me...i knew this name from cadence soulrebels a long time…
Lol. Is she still around? I used to be volunteer on viki Korean dramas. Then subbed Mandarin dramas to keep my Mandarin fluent. Nowadays I just watch dramas as I still need to keep up my fluency since I only use it for work purposes.
Whew. I finally finished episode 26. This drama has pushed all my other dramas off my plate. I couldn't even remember their plots.
I am not saying its perfect since its ep 26 only but the sheer pace and momentum is astounding. I don't even recall fast forwarding and actually enjoy each episode. This is the first time its happened this year.
I usually dislike historical because their ending usually sucks. Then the secondary characters are usually sucky too and people are routinely tortured and killed. This drama didn't do it and the plot still moved. How amazing.
The fight scenes are amazing. The bromance so heart warming. A male lead that looks like a male lead and not have so much plastic surgery he looks like a anatomy lesson in recognising procedures performed.
LSS is perfect as usual. However I am in love with Ruyi. A mature femal character that does not squeal, act stupid, immature and can actually think. Ruyi is awesome so much so I am happy to see her on screen with anyone.
Goodness. I have been so critical of quite a few drama this year because I was truly disappointed but this drama has been very enjoyable to watch. I am grateful for the 3 day break as I actually need to 5 other dramas to catch up on.
However I just need to say it again. I am so in love with this drama because I really wanted to watch a good drama.
The writer went for a break because 30 men were just standing there with the small mat. And the men just standing still in the emergency when the director ran past?
Yup all props. Glad that the real wire works used in the dramas worked. That so lame I cringed.
The open mike chatter was also cringy. I am not going back to Journey to love ep 20. I am so sleep deprived from that marathoned I can't even summom up the energy to say that the writing is do bad
I would sound more energetic except I just marathoned ep 1-16 in 1 day. I came to get spoilers as I am too tired to continue.
I've notice the abundance of good looking actors in this drama. Even the secondary characters are so good looking.
All that paled next to the excellent writing and great pace.
However I've been so in love with Ruyi that I've had no time to ship anyone. I loved the humour in episode 11.
This is a great show which I didn't realise I needed. I was wondering why I was critical oc my last few dramas until I started this and have notjing but praises.
I am in love with LSS and RRY. I can't keep my eyes off her. Shisan is funny. Funny hahaha funny.
Going to skeep now in the middle of the night. Ok 25 more episodes to go.
Ep 14 woooh that elevator kiss looked so freaking real, like a bts π³π³ππππ« Im so used to seeing…
It was a good drama night yesterday. I watched ep 18 here and there was some darned good scenes. Then I went over to Its a good day to be a dog where I actually repeated a scene because I couldn't believe my eyes. I wasn't expecting what I saw.
I have read the spoiler. I am not going to watch ep 27- 40. However I haven't worked out what happened to the Chu girl vs YY and LTG.
Everyone else apparently die. Eish.
Thank you.
Oh. My . God.

And now its the current King's son? Huh?
Can't we just enjoy the show? I think any defense needs to be done on the Chinese sites.
In the meantime I am more concerned that ep 31- 34 are supposed to be angsty. Why though?
It went a bit OTT at the end but then I am not one of those super romantic sort of person but the male lead was doing his job.

I am still shocked this morming.
Is it because its on Netflix? I wasn't expecting as isn't he sorta young and an idol? Wow. Guess I've been trained for sedate kissing
Well I felt the chemistry today and I didn't feel anything in the other unnamed drama.
