Okay, so after reading the stream of really bad comments on last episodes I finally gathered the courage to watch…
Its been fine for me and I am usually the person who dissects a drama or scene and I haven even summonsed up any energy to complain. That means its not so bad. The only think I can stand is the FL's bad hair colour choice.
What does it mean when the flower blooms? Sorry. I am running out of time to watch this drama. I watched till ep 8 then ep 21-22.
So can someone spoil it and tell me what happens when the flower blooms? Ep 22 already confused me. What I am more upset about is where the General is. He obviously got her poison as she is awake. So what happens when the flowe blooms as his life is tight up with it?
I think what I feel is anger. Anger that the prosecutors were so relentless. He took some drugs and never admitted…
May he rest in peace and his family able to find support. I am not even a massive fan and never watched all his dramas but can't take the way it all went down. The police and prosecutors were on a witch hunt.
I think what I feel is anger. Anger that the prosecutors were so relentless. He took some drugs and never admitted to having an affair yet they hounded him. Worse than they did to the politicians and the rich. Multiple examples out there.
The police and prosecutors who obviously thought the madam from the adult club was God since they believed everything and launched all that- and leak information +++- based on her testimony.
The funeral was supposed to be private yet they filmed and had drones. His children are young. The parents hardly showed photos of them yet his 2 sons were filmed. The media didn't learn. The YouTubers gatecrashing his wake.
He was great in ep 11 and quit commenting on his looks everytime you people want to say something about him
Why? He has the looks. He is known for his looks. Is he known for his singing, dancing or acting? I am realistic. I saw him in that college drama where his looks were the main point.
The actress is beautiful and elegantly thin. However that god-awful shade of bleached hair just ages her. Its not chestnut yet not blonde or shade of blonde.
Besides do school teachers normally bleach their hair that much in SK?
I can't comment on the plot which is pretty flimsy after 11 episodes. The actor playing BG is very talented and CEW extremely good looking. However he can't act at all can he?
I am finally commenting because it ends soon doesn't it? So the Mountain God needs to leave, the curse removed and then the main couple be a couple. After close to 4 months of watching. This once weekly format excluding pre-emption has been so tiring. What a stupid scheduling.
Good lord the river scene in Guilin has got to be one of thw best scenes I've seen on any drama for that sort of scenes.
Its such a quintessentially Chinese landscape it actually made me want to go to China. And I'm one of those Chinese who has no intention of visiting China but that scene was beautiful.
Can anyone tell me if there is any slight drama in this show? I read comments about how this is a fluffy, light…
Yeah I kept expecting issues to crop up but the story progressed along.
By the way the last episode of this drama just vaulted to my top 10 drama ending. Not for the romance itself you understand. It was the whole package.
By the way its actually not as light and fluffy as you think. There was a lot of good life lessons along the way. I have seen some fluffy dramas on Cdrama land. This drama actually made sense.
Its very rare that a drama has made me satisified. Ep 27 to 33 still needs to air on viki. I am actually going to rewatch it without all the ads from the illegal streaming site.
Then rewatch it just for the songs alone.
So yeah. Do watch it. My comments have been pretty brutal on other dramas. I have not critiqued this one. At all. And intend to rewatch it.
I feel for you. I have just come to MDL because I heard about the ending. I am pretty sure I won't be watching…
I didn't read any stories or gossip about this drama preciously. It was just a well written drama that I started episode 1 then I just marathoned it till I caught up. That was episode 26. Then when I had to wait for episode 27 I decided to see what happened. The killings were so artistically done that it didn't FEEL like it was going to be a melodrama or tragedy sort of drama.
So unlike some other viewers I do have a habit of not seeing the end of a drama but will read the spoilers. I really REALLY like the guys. I think unlike some others I expected a bad ending for the main couple based of the previous wuxia dramas I've watched. I would have cursed but expected it. However killing off ALL the other guys was an overload for me. I expected at least someone to survive to remember them you know? But they killed off everyone. That's too much for me. If about half of them died I would have accepted it. Killing them all? No.
Even reading about the drama has wrung my emotions. I was in love with the characters from ep 1- 26 and thought it was phenomenal.
I understand the logic but cannot accept the wholesale massacre of the good guys. Maybe some say. Years from now when I am not in love with the brotherhood bond I can finish off ep 27- 40.
Gosh. Its been awhile since I started a drama where everyone dies. Like literally

God. They suck.
No 1 you do not know who was his friend etc who did or did not contact him.
His children were sent to the US to get some privacy and the couple were dealing with the overwhelming media.
2. Suicidal thoughts are persistent and it sometimes ok, often; doesn't go away.
3. Your ideas are simplistic
Yes I have met people after suicidal attempts and I treat them. So no- it is not so simple as you think.
The acting is fine. It was all the pre-emptive episodes and single weekly episodes that made it like this.
I am trying to figure out if its not too strenuous whether I would go there. It looks like a beautiful spot for photos.
Thank you.

Just end it already.

The song lyrics in this drama has been fantastic.
