My personal opinion about the chemistry: I am loving their chemistry, it is more playful than romantic right now. A lot of people are saying that Yang Yang has better chemistry with Dilraba, yes at the time for YAMG, he did, (they have also said he had great chemistry with Zheng Shuang in Love O2O, although I would personally disagree ) but that was/is a totally different drama and a lot more mature and modern, so it can't really compare. I have always thought Dilraba has great chemistry with every leading male, the best imo being Vengo Gao in TMoPB.

Yang Yang and Zhao LuSi also have always had great chemistry with all their F/M Leads as well. Zhao LuSi has a way of bringing out the best in her costars I think. I never thought that her and Lin Yu Shen would work in Dating in the Kitchen, but I was very impressed. Zhao LuSi has a cutesy type persona and is very bubbly so any ML with her just fits, even the serious ones, they counter balance each other.

So comparing the FL or ML of past dramas chemistry, especially when the dramas are not even of the same genre or era, with their current dramas does not make sense , imo. The above is just my personal opinions, so take it as you want, it just from my observations. All I know, is this is an amazing cast of actors and you can see the talent and they are doing a great job in this drama. I can not wait for more. (I am so excited about it, that I am actually reading the book now)

Edited: P.S. to the comment below about kissing, I don't base chemistry off of kissing and I never mentioned kissing in my above comments. Actors can kiss and have no chemistry or they can have loads of chemistry and never kiss. So please don't put words in my mouth or assume you know what I am talking about. There are plenty of fans out there that know chemistry has nothing to do with kissing, physical attraction, etc. So don't demean us and think you know what you are talking about and we don't.

I am absolutely loving this drama. Every time they introduce a new character, I am like, I know that actor from another drama series I have liked. There are so many great actors in this series. It is so exceptional. I started watching because of Zhao LuSi, Yang Yang, and one of my favorites, Leon Lai, but staying for the story and the exceptional fight scenes. The fight scene choreography is so brilliant in this. I really like this side of Zhao Lu Si, they still have her light heartedness that she is known for, but at the same time they have made her more serious and mature as well. And Leon Lai, ever since I saw him in Legend of Fu Yao, I have been a huge fan of his. I am getting anxious to find out who Zhao Lu Si's character really is, especially since we know who Yang Yang's is. I really hope this drama continues to be as good as it is now. I know a lot of them have a tendency to rush the ending or it starts to drag out when it gets to the middle, I really hope they don't do a disservice to this awesome cast.

Loving this drama. Zhao Lusi fight scenes are better choregraphed and they are quite pleasing. Leon Lai is very…
I really really want to get into Ancient Love Poetry, because I really enjoy watching anything Leon Lai is in and Xu Kai is awesome too, but... I absolutely do not like the main female lead in it. I have tried several times to watch it, but she just aggravates me so much that I can't get into it. :(

I will probably check this out. Maybe I will like her acting more....Personally, I don't find the lead actress…
I agree. I first saw her in Listening Snow Tower. I really liked that drama so I got past her looks, because she is a really good actress.

I usually watch CDramas, with an occasional KDrama every now and then. I saw the synopsis for this and thought it sounded good and I am so glad I watched it. I was waiting every week for new episodes (which I rarely do, I usually wait til an entire series is out). Once I started this, I couldn't stop. I can't even say enough amazing things about how good this drama is. The acting, cast, story, etc. It seriously should have had at least another 2 maybe 3 episodes to kind create a bit more drama of him being away etc. That would be my only negative, the ending wasn't rushed, but it didn't really give me that feeling of how I think it should have ended. Overall a very very great drama, my absolute favorite RomCom I have seen in a very long time.

This has to be one of the best and cutest dramas I have seen in a very long time. I am usually a CDrama fanatic, but I have started watching more KDramas lately and I was following this one from beginning to end, it is really one of the best. The acting is wonderful. I really think it is was great. The ending was a bit anti climatic, but I think for this drama it suited it to a point.

I have watched up to episode 6 and so far it is really good. The chemistry between Yang Zi and Xiao Zhan is so good. Their acting is wonderful. I also love the scences with the FL and her father, they seem so real and genuine. The acting overall has been so good. So far it has been a really nice "slice of life" drama. My only complaint is the 2nd Leads. You could honestly leave their scenes out and it wouldn't take anything away from this drama. I can't recall ever seeing the 2nd female lead in anything, but in this she is quite annoying and the only one, in my opinion, that isn't very good. I am looking forward to the rest of this drama, despite that small detail.

I love Zhao LuSi. Every drama I have watched her in has been so great, her acting, her chemistry, I love them all. I will have to admit I can not get into Love better than Immortality, I have really tried to watch it over and over, but for some reason I can't get into it. I have yet to watch Prodigy Healer, it is on my to watch list. So my favorite out of the ones you have mentioned would be The Romance of Tiger and Rose. So great, her chemistry with Ding YuXi is so great. They play off each other really well. I know she has so many other amazing dramas and great chemistry with all her costars. I can't wait for Love like the Galaxy and Who Rules the World. I am excited to see her with Yang Yang and again with Leo Wu.

Watch Brightest Star In The Sky with him. I really enjoyed is character in that.
Yes, you have to watch Brightest Star in the Sky. It was the first time I watched him act and he is so good. It also got me into liking his music.

I'm glad I started this. These two are hilarious yet that understated longing that Lu Xun has for Qian Wei makes…
I agree. I love Ethan Juan, especially in Legend of Fu Yao, but him and Song Zu Er had no chemistry together, which I think made the drama lacking a lot. I can really see the chemistry between Song ZuEr and ZTao here.

Title Tears in Heaven Spoiler
I have just started watching this drama and so far I am enjoying. I know there are a lot of negative reviews and I can see where some are coming from. I love Li Qin and her acting in this is really good. The character she portrays is a bit all over the place, but she plays it well. She had me in tears during the death scene. I haven't cried over a drama in a very long time, but this one got me. I do think the story kind of jumps all over the place. They go from business stuff, to the kids on the island, to the second and third leads, and all over. Li Qin and Shawn Dou's interactions with each other are wonderful. Most of the drama is typical Chinese modern drama scenarios to be expected. I will have to say I HATE Si Qi (FL's friend) character so much, at least right now. She is just with her boyfriend for his money or what he can buy her. She shows no empathy and poor guy takes it. I wish he would stand up for himself, actually I wish he would just end things with him, she doesn't deserve him at all. (granted right now I am only episode 15 so if things change, I don't know yet). But I really want her character gone, she seems worse than the supposed antagonists in this right now. Looking forward to the rest of it and most likely I will be skipping through a lot, because for this type of drama 41 episodes already seems way to much.

One drama that i finished over the weekend but should have dropped is love is better than immortality. The only…
I love the main female lead in it. I have watched nearly all Zhao LuSi's dramas, but I can not get into this one. I have watched and rewatched 2 to 3 episodes and I really want to try and finish, but I don't know if it is the script or her over acting in this one, but it is cringe for me and I really want to like it. I almost stopped A Female Arrives at the Imperial College as well, but Xu Kaicheng makes everything great :)

Thank you! I understand what you mean. You have to feel really attached to a story to not care about boring fillers.…
Almost any historical drama with Zhao Lusi has funny moments in it. I have pretty much watch almost all her dramas and right now there is only one I can't finish because it is absolutely to ridiculous for me (and I really like ZL).

I rarely drop dramas, because I watch them mainly for cast, but there are two I regret watching. First one is…
I agree with you, I didn't see the hype Joy of Life was getting. It took me a long time to finish it. But after watching Sword Snow Stride, which I absolutely loved, I started liking Zhang Ruo Yun and wanted to watch more of his dramas. I will admit I skipped through a lot of JoL scenes, but I also like Li Qin, so the scenes of them together I really liked. But the ending was a bit of a cliffhanger, I heard they were making a season 2.

I have been getting that vibe with some recent dramas I have been watching. When I get to that point, I usually start skipping scenes, episodes, etc just to hurry and get to the end, so I can see how it ends. Quite a few you mentioned I haven't even seen, but there were 2 I really liked, but there definitely scenes in those two that I do skip through, cause they drag or the secondary characters are uninteresting or the plot is just not there for me.

I have a love/hate for this drama. The acting is really good. Li Qin is a great actress, I have seen her in several…
Wanted to add I think the reason I like the main actress so much, is that she reminds me so much of Bai Lu for some reason. I was a Bai Lu fan first, but I have since watched several of Li Qin's dramas. They are both great actresses and I have liked most of their dramas.
