I am not sure, because I haven't read the novel or source material this is based off, so my guess is Fang Lei's sister. Only cause when she was in the pool she said something like remember how my sister drowned and Hao Ming had this certain look on his face. They seem to have a certain connection.
So it has basically become who can out lie the best. If you watched the teasers, you'll understand. I really don't like this new guy coming in. He has sleezeball written all over him, even without speaking. I think I am really going to start disliking ML's character in the next few episodes.
I think my favorite relationship in this drama right now, is Xu Yan and Qiao Lin's relationship. There is a sister bond, both of them care for each but there is also a bit of resentment on XY's part. I am really liking their interactions.
I like the pace of the show so far. Can sensed Zhao Lusi has truly immersed herself in this role as Xu Yan , who…
I wonder if they will ever show his side. I would love if they showed a bit of the ML's side, as well. Like once we learn his true reason for pursuing her, maybe they could show his side of like they have done hers.
OMG I didn't see this coming, wondering if this is the reason all along he went after her. I know we know why…
adding on to what Florahh said, I also think she pursued him a bit for his connections so to speak, as she wasn't really getting anywhere in her career, she was being stalled by that one hostess and her immediate boss. And she wanted to do a lot more for her grandmother, so his added wealth helped (for ex. move her grandmother to live with her and be comfortable). I don't know if she really "loves" him right now, it might just be a facade.
This drama is for mature audiences. It's worth watching if you can handle the tensions throughout the episodes.…
It is definitely a mature drama, especially for ZLS, I am not sure she has done a drama yet with this much intensity and maturity. She is pulling it off well. I don't like all the lying in it, but it is a means to an end, I guess.
I don't think the trailer really does a good job of incorporating the actual feel of the drama. It is a very good…
Yes absolutely. Right now the only critique I have, is they jump around with the timeline a lot. They will go back a few months or a year or so and you not sure whether your in that past time line or the current time line. They do have a lot of flash backs of when she was younger, as well, those are more obvious. It starts off in the present, but it does a lot of back story, which isn't bad, something a little different. You are thrust in their current "love story" right at the beginning and they do flash backs to show you how they got to that point, where as most dramas will build up to that.
Beginning to see the fall. He seems to have real estate plans in her hometown, but using her career advancement…
OMG I didn't see this coming, wondering if this is the reason all along he went after her. I know we know why she pursued him, but according to the synopsis he has ulterior motives as well.
After reading the synopsis, I was interested, but the trailer killed my mood. I don’t think I’ll watch it—unless…
I don't think the trailer really does a good job of incorporating the actual feel of the drama. It is a very good story and ZLS's acting is absolutely phenomenal in this. Only 5/6 episodes and I personally think the drama just keeps getting better with each episode. Episode 4 was heartbreaking though, but so worth it.
Only 1st episode in and wow—Lusi just keeps leveling up! She’s more mature and subtle here, but every expression…
if you like costume dramas you should watch Novaland: Pearl Eclipse with William Chan and Yang Mi, he is so good in that. It is where I really noticed him and started watching more of his dramas.
