Beginning to see the fall. He seems to have real estate plans in her hometown, but using her career advancement…
OMG I didn't see this coming, wondering if this is the reason all along he went after her. I know we know why she pursued him, but according to the synopsis he has ulterior motives as well.
After reading the synopsis, I was interested, but the trailer killed my mood. I don’t think I’ll watch it—unless…
I don't think the trailer really does a good job of incorporating the actual feel of the drama. It is a very good story and ZLS's acting is absolutely phenomenal in this. Only 5/6 episodes and I personally think the drama just keeps getting better with each episode. Episode 4 was heartbreaking though, but so worth it.
Only 1st episode in and wow—Lusi just keeps leveling up! She’s more mature and subtle here, but every expression…
if you like costume dramas you should watch Novaland: Pearl Eclipse with William Chan and Yang Mi, he is so good in that. It is where I really noticed him and started watching more of his dramas.
It is a very mature drama. We don't see the happy, playful, carefree ZLS we are use to. She is very serious and mature, she is reflecting the character really well. The story is good, I don't know if I like the jumping of the timeline in the first few episodes that much, there were a couple of times I wasn't sure if they were in the present or in the past. Other than that, yes I would say it is good.
I feel the same. I think both characters are written to feel very human, with messy red flags. SHM’s family…
I am interested to see what he is using her for? We have caught a glimpse of why she wants to marry him, but not so much of why he wants to marry her, cause according to the synopsis he is using her as well. I mean we can clearly see the attraction between the two, that boardroom scene where they just stared at each other. I agree, as you have stated, he knows she is lying about quite a few things.
ep 4: I cried so hard when xu yan cried, as expected from zhao lusi
Yes, she has such strong emotion, she is one of a very small number of actresses that when she cries you feel it. I wanted to reach through the screen and punch her dad. I was cursing him out so bad while watching that scene.
1st episode in and it is definitely different from ZLS 's previous work. Very mature and kind of a somber (if that is the right word to use), maybe more serious than we are use to. Not sure yet about whether I am going to like this, story is interesting and still seeing if I am getting any chemistry. I am use to build ups of romances, so for it to be right at the start is different. Looking forward to watching more and I love ZLS no matter what. So glad to see a fresh drama of hers.
This wouldn't be so bad if the acting and the dubbing were better. One of the reasons I don't like short dramas that much is because the dubbing and the quality is always so bad. The only reason I continued to watch cause the ML is a hottie and I wanted to see the comparisons of the KDrama "Marry My Husband".
If you haven't watched "Marry My Husband" (K Drama) you must, because it is 100xs better than this. They are basically the same show with just a few changes. Also, the acting is so much more real.
I'm so glad that he's finally been booked as the main lead he deserves after playing second lead for so long.…
Riley Wang has had a few main lead roles. He did a modern drama as a main lead role with Zhao Lu Si called "I Hear You". He is really good, he does deserve a few more leads. I personally prefer him in modern drama vs costume.
Why does this matter what he does in his personal life? This is so aggravating, his personal life has nothing to with the drama. I don't get why people make this stuff an issue. Just watch the drama for the drama's sake, ignore all the personal unrelated to the drama stuff.
