so many colors, I felt like I was watching a light show

Edit: I was referring to all the colors in general through the whole last two episodes, including all the colorful lights with him getting the demon powers and then going into the abyss. I kind of skimmed over the part where you said "at the trial" and thought you were referring the whole episodes today. I guess I need to slow down when reading more.

So.......(according to the previews) let me get this straight, CH died so that they could rid HX of the power of her twin, now that she gets her power back, her twin's power went back into HX, that some messed up BS. I thought he (CK) only went to the abyss to get her power how can HX have the twin's power? Ugh, really that is a bit stupid on the screenwriter's part. Let's give the evil guy everyone's power so that history will repeat itself and the only way they can win again is if CH sacrifices herself "AGAIN" FFS! uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so freaking frustrated now.

My Journey to You (most likely this one)
The Demon Hunter's Romance
Story of Kunning Palace (really want to watch this one)
The Emperor's Love
Fox Spirit Matchmaker : Yue Hong

But their next big drama the day after this is over is a modern one:

Sunshine By My Side (Aug. 31, says on their coming soon) with Xiao Zhan and Bai Bai He

Overall the episodes have been outstanding, but a bit disappointing in the background and scenery in episode 36 when they had the stand off. During the standoff you saw the heavenly generals (like Sun and CK's guy) trying to break down the barrier standing next to HX, then when they started doing the talking, HX was standing in front of what looked like a lot of white soldier like statues. It looked really bad from my perspective, a little obvious that it was green screened and they were added in back and where did all the generals go (Sun and company)?? I also understand the scene was done in a forest, but me I like when fights are done in more of an open space. This was so dark and so many distractions. This scene is probably my biggest complaint, I have enjoyed everything else.

Mine will be definitely the odd one:

1. Demon arc
2. Martial Arts (Master/Disciple)
3. Animal ( ok, I know this is odd, but hear me out, it was short, cute and so funny, that is why I loved it, there was no angsty people)
4. 30000 yrs (I like this one, because it filled up so many gaps of the whole story)
5. LuChangKong arc ( I would almost put this at the bottom, but it was really the big start of their feelings toward each other, I just didn't like the 2ML interference in this)
6. Princess & General (short, it was kind of a weird one, they were suppose to find clues for Immortal Li, and they came in right in the middle of a story already being told, so they had to explain everything before we even understood the story for that life and also, I am not a body switching fan, although they played each other very well)

I was wondering where the choppy part was. I can see that now. That scene just kind of came out no where, I almost thought I had missed something before.

I cannot wait for Legend of Shen Li....Lin Geng Xin and Zhao Li Ying reunion, I am so giddy!!! The only other dramas of hers that I like The Legends ( the chemistry between Bai Lu and Xu Kai, is probably my absolute favorite out of all leads, love love love this pairing, and I know they most likely won't, but I would love to see them together again ) and Back from the Brink.

Wow Immortal Sun was becoming a bit of an annoyance there. I didn't think he would actually listen to Xiu Ming.

Just noticed someone finally rearranged the order of the cast list above.

I usually wait until a drama (especially xianxias) finish before I start watching them. I usually only watching ongoing Modern CDramas, but I really am enjoying this one to much to want to wait (and enjoying the comment section, lol that also is a small factor in my decision making to watch an ongoing drama).

That being said when I found out how TTEOTM ended I haven't started watching it yet, because I don't know if I can put myself through that kind of misery. I love watching Bai Lu and have watched almost every single one of her dramas, but I can't bring myself to start that one yet. I haven't finished TLP, haven't started LYF (because I don't want to get emotionally involved in that one until the 2nd season is announced or starts). I did watch BFTB, loved it (although, I wanted more). I didn't really enjoy The Starry Love's OE, but I get it. My all time favorite xianxia is TMOPB (or The Eternal Love of Dream, whichever you call it), L&R is good, but for me nothing has yet to beat my love for TMOPB and it has a great ending at least for the main leads, as well as Ashes of Love.

its been like that all year and I hate it. I do not like OE or SE (sad ending) or BE. I want a satisfactory happy ending, especially when they have gone through so much.

I almost want to say it makes every thing he did in the previous tribulations pointless. But I get it now. He knew CK didn't remember and also he was trying to save CH and didn't want her to lost her primordial spirit. And maybe he was hoping since CK didn't remember he might get CH's attention (that was probably a little inkling of a thought)

I am at the part where she just did the little cat scratches, lol so freaking cute.

Her eyes pop! I have loved her eye make up through this whole drama, but this one is really outstanding. They really did do the costuming and make up so extraordinarily well in this drama. I have honestly never been so impressed with costuming and make up before. If they give awards for this, the people who worked on the make up and costume should get top honors. I would love to personally praise them myself. It is so outstanding.

It's good, I liked it straight from the first episode, but it really starts taking off around episode 10+ honestly, maybe even 8. Where you usually get lulls in the middle of dramas, particularly C Dramas are bad about slowing down in the middle, this one actually picks up speed and is zooming right now. I feel there could be so much more to the story but we only have 6 episodes left. It is worth sticking out. Someone actually said that when they rewatch they are actually going to start in the middle (where they start the 30000 yrs tribulation) and then go back to the beginning as soon as that tribulation is over. I might try that as well. It might make for a different take on the story.

Oh I forgot to add, I forgot about Bai Lu's performance in One and Only, I think I almost cried or did cry at the end of that, I can't remember. I just know I can never watch that drama again knowing how it ends. It still hurts, but I have watched Forever and Ever several times.
