"These days I am practically living in this comment section and counting minutes to each next episode XD. (seriously, I haven't been this obsessed about a drama for a while now)"
This comment is so me as well. I am constantly here, lol. I haven't really thoroughly enjoyed a drama to this extent in so long especially a xianxia one.
My Journey to you has a rumored premiere date at the end of August.
just watched it. My biggest problem is they let fans basically dictate their life. The fact that fans would go to such extremes as committing suicide or other things because their favorite celebrity is dating is just insane to me. I do somewhat agree with some of the things, like the drugs and I don't think celebrities should voice their political or religious views ( I really wish they wouldn't do it here in the US). I didn't see ZZH doing that, someone purposely dug up those photos and he has come out denying the allegations made against him. I just think they (the Chinese government) are overly strict with most of their policies concerning celebrities.

Agree. I am still upset about the whole ZZH thing, that to me was utter ridiculousness. I am glad to see he is doing well and having concerts, but man I really want to see him back acting again. His costume dramas are some of my favorites. Deng Lun's was ridiculous as well. As long as he willing or able to pay the taxes back I don't get the problem. Also, don't get me started on the whole Xu Kai Cheng thing either, that story aggravates me a lot as well.

There is always something with these dramas. One little thing and they pull them or never show them. A lot of the time they are small infractions. As someone living in the US and see a lot of worse stuff with actors and actresses (singers and athletes as well) and yet their movies, TV shows concerts, etc. still go on (unless they commit murder). It is crazy (unusual for me as an American) to see a country have so much restriction with what they show and who is allowed to be in entertainment.
Side Note or rather irrelevant to this drama: I saw some say iQiyi are speeding up the episodes of this drama to release a new drama, anyone know which one they might release? As of right now I can see at least one of the following, with the top 3 being more likely, could be possible. Just curious, cause I am looking forward to all of the ones below:
The Demon Hunter's Romance My Journey to You Story of Kunning Palace (I really hope it is this one, I am impatiently waiting) The Emperor's Love Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Yue Hong Follow Your Heart
So this whole story or tribulations would never have happened if it wasn't for the greediness of the first son of the Qilin (not sure if I spelled that right) Divine Clan. All because he wanted to be all powerful he cause all these problems. See what evil does, you cause great chaos and it doesn't always work in your favor in the end. Can't wait for his justice to be served and I hope it is extraordinary after all that he has done.
Why did they have to end today's episode like that? Ugh, I can't wait til tomorrow. Question, does anyone think that Chu Kong heard the Protector's confession to Cang Hai about CK's brother and her twin? I mean they zeroed in on his hand fisting with the camera, so it makes me curious if he heard it subconsciously.
Definitely a lot of plot development in episode 30 and I can see even more in the 31 preview. Looking forward to find out why they went into the next life so fast after this one.
No one is talking about how the leads are so beautiful on their wedding day.
I was going to make that very comment. I loved that scene where they did the knot and how it wove around their hands. They were so gorgeous in their wedding attire, but I have to say that all their attire and costume and make up (especially YCY's eye make up) has been extraordinarily done.
He didn't know that CK could help him. He also said that over the years, CH used a lot of medicine to help but…
I am at the part where he finally confessed everything to CH. I feel better, I just wish he had of done it sooner and I understand his reasonings behind why he delayed it. At least he finally told her, a little late, but.....

It wasn't so much that whether he knew they could help him or not, it was more that he should have at least told CH the intentions of HX so she could at least know what was going on. I don't know I get aggravated when they show these supposedly loyal people and then something puts them in a situation they are now no longer loyal or feel they can't talk to the people they are loyal to about said situation.
Had to come here and comment/ask a question. I am currently in the middle of episode 29. The biggest thing I hate about dramas overall is the lack of communication between loved ones, friends, etc. It leads to so many misunderstandings and I hate it, it is my biggest vice in these dramas. I just want to yell at them and say talk to each other you nitwits. Ok, so the reason for the rant:
Why did the Lord Protector not talk to CH and CK about what Hao Xuan was doing to his children? (I don't know if this happens later, after all I am only on episode 29) But.... he should have done it from the beginning, gone straight to CH and told her what Hao Xuan wanted him to do in exchange for his children's lives. I mean does he not think his Empress would help him or ask CK to help. This just aggravates the crap out of me, that the Protector would turn his back on his own clan, by helping this deceitful a**hole (for lack of a better term), I mean was he not smart enough to realize what HX was after and wanted overall. Come on, idiot, there are so many better ways to fix this. If nothing else he could have gone to CH and maybe they could have been prepared or come up with a plan at least.
Ok I am done ranting, I just get so aggravated and worked up when I see situations that could have been avoided.
