Gotta love chinese censorship, not only do they butcher entire storylines and shows but they also cut multiple…
I have been noticing and hearing, they seem to be doing that more frequently lately. I watched the modern drama Double Love just recently and the drama was so bad because of all the editing that was done. I have never seen it this bad except in recent dramas over say the last 6 months or so.
The first 8 or "Season 1" as they are saying, but they have a "Season 2" coming in March 2023, which I believe is a continuation. At least for U.S. Netflix.
Is everyone binge watching the first 8? Or are you going to wait til March to watch them all? I am debating what to do. I so want to start watching now, but I know I will finish it fast (if it is really good, which it looks to be) and then have to wait 2 months for the rest.
Yes. This drama is more into rom-com. So dont take the royal families behaviour in this drama too seriously. If…
The Rise of the Phoenixes was excellent. I loved it, even though it was long, same could be said with The Story of Ming Lan, it was long but really good. Also, check out The Rebel Princess, it is really, really good as well. IMO, a very underrated drama. I also think The Song of Glory is really good as well.
Dylan Wang has to be in China's Top 10 Male Actors, easily....I love Yukee Chen however I don't think she is in…
He is currently filming a drama with Bai Lu. I am excited to see it. I would definitely like to see him pair up with Zhao LuSi now that would be a great drama. I think he will be doing a drama soon with Seven Tan.
I personally didn't like his pairing with Esther Yu, but it is probably cause I am a bit biased, I really don't like her as an actress. I have tried watching her in several different dramas and I just can't and it sucks cause they are pairing her up with all alot of my favorite Male Leads (ex. Xu Kai, Leo Wu and possibly Johnny Huang). I even heard a rumor (melon) she may be playing Li Qin's character in Joy of Life Season 2 ( I so hope that is only a rumor).
i agree with you. ep 7-8 seemed more of a filler rather than a build-up and it's my opinion, it is fine to disagree…
LOL Yeah I don't understand why people don't understand that their are others that don't share their same opinion about the progression of a drama. (Not to be taken seriously, I am being facetious)
Too bad most of the 7th and 8th episode were fillers... more than half of the scenes didnt add anything to the…
I am so glad I am not the only one who feels this. I haven't watched 7 and 8 yet. I am about to start them, but I was feeling this with 5 and 6. Yeah there were cute moments between the 2 leads but at the same time especially toward the end of 6 I was getting bored. I am not sure if I am going to make it through all 36 episodes. I may put it on hold and come back when its finished and skip around to the end. I will say I am enjoying the two leads and their acting is good and it seems to have a good premise (storyline), but the execution is not coming across very well for me right now.
Besides I am a bit to into Flight into You and Hi Venus right now. It is very hard to for me to watch to many ongoing dramas at once. So might as well drop the ine that is not keeping my full attention.
Most frequently asked question of 2022 🤣🤣🤣
So weird that everyone seems to not know the answer to that question. I went in knowing because of all the info/synopsis etc that was told before it even aired. I guess not a lot of people learn about or see previews of dramas before they watch them.
Just finished 11 and 12 and still enjoying this very much.
Her mom went way to far. For being a lawyer I can't believe she did what she did and the fact that the listing agent went along with it. I am so glad her house didnt get sold without her ending up knowing about it.
We finally got to see what happened with the girl in his flashbacks and what she meant to him. And why he is so insanely crazy about rules and safety.
The previews for the next two episodes look really exciting can't wait.
I really like Song Song, but i completely understand his girlfriend. You need to be very understanding if you date…
Yeah if she was truly understanding she would propose to celebrate her birthday on another day. Seriously, one or two days difference is not really that big of deal. I know she would probably want to celebreate it the day of, but that can't always happen. She really did seem so immature and clingy. I am glad they are no longer together. The drama is now basically setting up Song Song and Xia Zhi relationship.
Parents in almost every cdrama pisses me off. Like cut the umbilical cord already and let them live the life they…
My thoughts exactly. I guess it is just different cultures. Because every time I watch an Korean and especially Chinese drama and see the parents control (or try to control) almost every aspect of their child's life, I get so aggravated.
Yes, I would rather pay for a subscription than watch it on one of the other non paying sites. I will check out Huace TV thanks for the recommendation.
I am watching this on Viki and only on episode 9 right now and am loving every minute of it. They are not forcing a relationship and their interactions are so freaking cute. I love their banter. I like how they are focusing on the leads and their story and not really forcing a lot of second lead scenes. Although, I do like her best friend and her best friend's infatuation with strawberry guy ( who also happens to be ML's assistant). Very cute drama, looking forward to more.
Enjoying this one. I didn't like LBFAD, but this is interesting because of the FL. Her character is well written…
I didn't like LBFAD either and it wasn't because of Dylan Wang. I do like Chen Yu Qi in this, she really shines, especially when she is sharing scenes with Dylan Wang.
The only good parts in this so far is any of the scenes with Dylan Wang's character or his interactions with Chen Yu Qi's character other than that it is kind of boring or dragging, for me anyway. I barely paid attention to the parts when she went to the mausoleum and her interactions with her friend there. They were just not catching my attention and a bit boring. Her friend is bit to whiny for me as well. After six episodes, I feel like they need to move the story along more, it just seems very slow right now. The first few episodes were really good, but now I am losing interest. I mean there were a couple of sweet scenes, but like I said if it doesn't have the 2 Leads or at least Xiao Duo in the scene it is kind of boring. I hope it starts picking up again.
