okay I guess its entertaining but some things don't really makes senseI'm on ep 2, watching with subs and I understand…
it seems they skip a lot of scenes as well or cut them out.....like you are expecting or waiting for them to finish talking of finish a scene but they skip to a different scene and you just have to roll with it.
I don't think it will be that good. The only thing that might make this good is because of Zhang Ruo Yun. I have been reading way to many cast changes. It is hard for me to watch a part 2 if they change to much of the original cast. I know it has been several years since the first one, but even still it sucks. If what I heard about Li Qin being changed to Esther Yu I will definitely not be watching. (just a rumor, I hope)
I am getting a bit tired of the long pauses they seem to be doing with the music over the scene. It seems like there are a lot of filler scenes with focusing in on something unimportant with dramatic music. (maybe it is just me, but I am finding it annoying and FF through those scenes).
Also, if this was costume drama itself it would be good. (especially, cause Bi Wen Jin looks so much better in costume) If it was a modern day drama by itself it would also be good. I just feel the I am watching two different dramas in one. I understand the costume part is when they are in the game, but it seems they do more "drama" and storytelling in the game than anything else in the game, it is like watching a drama. I like both, I just wish there was more actual gameplay when they play the game.
I do not like the new guy, he is creepy. If he has any interest in the FL romantically than that is even more creepy.
Still enjoying it, although in these last couple of episodes I did skip a couple of scenes, because it seemed a bit draggy in places.
Can someone spoil me if the FL isn't very smart and embarasses herself very often? I've saw many comparisons to…
I don't know if I would say smart, but she definitely can tell when a person (ex. the female "villainous") is spouting nonsense and doesn't put up with it. She isn't dumb either, she sticks up for herself and others. She also is pretty open about her feelings and thoughts, unlike the ML who seems to be hiding how he feels about her.
It says she is one of the greatest players but so far I'm only seeing a weakling who keeps fantasizing abt the…
The fake faints are really her character "dying". And yes she isn't one of the greatest players, I have no idea why they said that in the synopsis, cause the ML has to train her. She does get a bit better in game, but I would never classify her as one of the greatest.
Just finished episode 8 and am still really liking this drama. I think the MC have great chemistry. A few comments....…
Added comment: I love seeing Dai Si in this. I haven't seen her in much else since watching her in Eternal Love and The Flame's Daughter, although, I know she has been in quite a few other projects. I do wish they would tell us her relationship with Hang Jing Mo and Gu Xiao Bei, instead of us just seeing a few scenes of hers.
Just finished episode 8 and am still really liking this drama. I think the MC have great chemistry. A few comments.... 1. The in game scenes could be better. They mostly spend time talking and saying they are going to do quests but you don't see it. We only saw them do one boss like fight scene (not counting their PvP battles) and one semi quest (the escort one). I can't wait til the FL finds out who Ink White really is. 2. I absolutely love WanWan's bedroom. The slow spinning seating area with the cup chairs is my absolute favorite part of it. The set design for their house is so neat. I love it. 3. I love all the acting and for the most part it seems very light hearted and sweet. I love the sibling interactions the most. You almost never see a brother so loving and caring for a younger sibling, she has him wrapped around her finger. 4. The costumes in game are so beautiful and really well done. I am liking all the detail they put into this. 5. Overall, the story seems a bit all over the place, jumping so much between game and real life. It still keeps my attention though.
Here is a list of several I would recommend:Story of Ming LanThe Rebel PrincessThe Rise Of PhoenixesThe King's…
I forgot to add a couple more of my favorites that are good. The Blooms at Ruyi Pavillion ( I really like this one, but the dubbing is a bit bleh, really bad dubbing on the kid) Legend of Yun Xi
I say these two because the main couple are the same for both. They both have great chemistry together and I really like the stories for both.
Started 1st episode and actually enjoying it (probably minority here). It is basically Love 020, imo, at least so far. I love Yang Yang, but I did not like his female co star in Love 020. So far I am liking both leads, but it is just the first episode. I am also liking the gameplay a lot better as well in this over Love 020. I probably need to quit comparing the two but they are so similar. Granted neither of these are huge high traffic artists, but I have seen the ML in several other dramas, and I like his acting. Hopefully, it will be good. I love gaming dramas, so I have high hopes for this.
Now that I finished the only drama I am watching as of now.... Can someone recommend any good historical drama?
Here is a list of several I would recommend: Story of Ming Lan The Rebel Princess The Rise Of Phoenixes The King's Woman The Legends The Princess Wei Young Who Rules the World Princess Agents Love and Redemption Legend of Fu Yao Listening Snow Tower Joy of Life Sword Snow Stride Eternal Love (another name Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms) Dance of the Phoenix General and I The Sword and the Brocade Novoland: Pearl Eclipse Under the Power
I have many more I could recommend but these are just the ones I can think of right now. They are a mix of xianxia, wuxia, historical costume dramas. A few with sad endings, a few with happy endings. These are ones I like, but some I like more than others, Story of Ming Lan probably my favorite, as is The Sword and the Brocade.
