I dont know if she would be evil but youre right, there must be more to her story and the reason why she is in…
I want to know more of her story as well. We do know she was born to a concubine and her "step"mother (I think it was her step mother or real mother or what ever she is) wanted her to be part of the tribute, actually paid that eunuch to make sure she was part of the tribute, but we haven't seen anything else from her family or about her family since.
Still enjoying this drama. I am glad to see she will be going back to where she is suppose to be. I liked how Ni Zhan set that whole interaction up in episode 10. So far so good, I really hope it stays this way.
Most of the C-Drama r long & dragging.. I hope that like ' Go ahead '' i can njoy this dragging.. those who r…
I think one of the biggest reasons why Korean modern dramas do so much better than Chinese modern dramas is because they only have 12 or 16 episodes, although sometimes K Dramas will rush the ending when they have something like 12 episodes which does suck sometimes. But overall I have always felt K Dramas do so much better with modern ones than C Dramas. A lot of C modern dramas do not need 40 episodes, most of the time the 20 extra episodes are either boring, gear away from the plot of focus way to much time on the support characters. The only time C Dramas do well with 40 plus episodes are when they are costume dramas, for some reason their costume dramas are for the most part really well executed and the timing and story really does well with the longer episodes.
This drama has completely renewed my crush on Wang Kai. I somehow forgot how magnetizing this man is, dang it.
I think the only other drama I saw him in was Nirvana in Fire. I don't think I have watched any of his other dramas. He really is so good and I love his acting.
One thing I want to happen very soon- GNT telling Yu Heng that he only sees her as a little sisterOne thing I…
I agree. I am really hoping there won't be any type of love triangle between Ni Zhan, GNT and CX. Mainly because we saw that happen with Seven Tan's character and Liu Chang's character in Master of My Own with Kenny Lin.
I just watched the first 10 episodes, but wait, why is FL having problems every episode? it's incredible, ok,…
I don't think she would have so many problems if that one Captain didn't like female pilots so much. She is pretty gung-ho and doesn't take crap from anybody and when she was flying freight she didn't have passengers to deal with, so she has to learn how to fly with passengers on board and take in their considerations. I am glad to see at the end of episode 10 that the head guy told the Captain dude to put her back in pilot status and that is was basically stupid of him to put her in ground handling.
I think Jiang Tao wants her to quit with the way he is handling everything. He is trying to look like he isn't doing anything wrong and it is all Nan Ting coming up with the punishments. (If the previews are any indication we shall see that Cheng Xiao learns the truth). Granted Chang Xiao does have an attitude problem, but she is in a male dominated field and she has had to work extra hard to get where she is. Also, if she is at fault she does apologize and works extra hard to make sure she doesn't do it again. She has an exemplary flight record. You know if she had been a man she would have been a captain already and flying her own plane. But because Jiang Tao does not like female pilots (especially unmarried ones), he is finding every single fault and giving her ridiculous punishments. I don't understand why she just doesn't try to find a job at another airline. Would it be impossible with her flight record?
Ok I am so very aggravated about the flight delay then cancellation thing. First of all they were delayed because…
Also, I want to add.....I understand how upset that passenger is about not seeing her dad. But couldn't they do a video call or conference with the hospital. I mean phones are basically face to face communications now. I know, I know it is not the same as being there or holding their hand, but at least it is better than nothing. (btw I am only 20 mins into episode 7 so if they do this or anything else than that is why I don't know)
Ok I am so very aggravated about the flight delay then cancellation thing. First of all they were delayed because the main Captain called maintenance to fix the wiper. Why did the airline not already have that problem fixed? Why did they get the passengers on a plane in the first place when there was situation that needed to be fixed? But they decide to push all the blame on the female pilot because she called the police to get a sexual harrasing passenger off the plane. They were all cheering her for doing something about it earlier, but now they are saying she made the flight cancelled. That is utter BS. I hate when they put the blame on someone else. The only fault I see she did, was she should have at least told the main pilot about calling the police or they should have moved that passenger to where the male flight attendants were.
This is very good so far. Tan Songyun never lets me down with her projects.
Yes all the dramas I have watched her in have been good, except Master of My Own. For some reason, I really didn't like it. Her acting was good, but I think the plot of that whole drama and the story was just bad.
This is probably the best 2022 (almost 2023) modern drama, I have seen this year. I have just finished the first 6 episodes and watched the previews for the next two and wow. The cast is amazing and so far the story has been really good. Sexual Harrasment and Gender Discrimination drama, what more could you ask for. I so hope that gender discriminating captain gets what is coming to him, what a freaking a**.
Just started watching only halfway through episode 1 and already loving it. Hopefully it continues and am so enjoying Wang Kai and Seven Tan together, so far limited interactions (only cause I am on episode 1) but I can already feel their chemistry (not necessarily in the romance department yet, but definitely in the acting together part). Most definitely, already, a lot better than her and Kenny Lin in Master of My Own.
I absolutely loved Love Like the Galaxy, it is my absolute new favorite costume drama now along with Ming Lan. I will have to say I haven't read any of the novels. The only one I did start was Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, but never finished. I really think I need to read more of these dramas' novels to get a better understanding.
I did hear so much about how the adaptation of Who Rules the World was changed. I liked Who Rules the World to a point, and mostly because of Zhao Lu Si and Lai Yi. The drama itself overall was not great. So much drama/controversy behind the drama as well, with the producer and director, etc. I hated they changed so much and made it more Male Lead centric, because again ZLS was really good.
I like Go Go Squid, too. To hear that Yang Zi's character was dumb downed, it makes me want to read the novel now. For her supposedly having 2 majors and being so smart, I didn't like how silly they made her in the drama. As for You are My Glory and Skate Into Love, I like both them as well. I did get a bit bored with You are My Glory toward the last few episodes though.
I have never watched The Untamed, I can't get past the 1st episode. Some people have told me to skip up til episode 11 then watch it. I just haven't been interested in starting it again for the who knows how many time.
Thank you for your synopsis on the difference with the book and dramas. I know they like to change things with they adapt books into dramas, but to see how much is changed really makes it you see which one is better. I will definitely start reading more books so I can see the differences as well.
