what's good abt this is that it's fictional so i can hold on to a hope that it could be a happy ending HAHAHHAHAH unlike ehem that other one right there that made me cry buckets of tears right at new year. but if it's tragic then im so ready for the pain
i wonder what will induce yoo jung into wanting to be a queen and why being a queen will protect her. because so far i don't think she has any interest in it?? although a queen has power, being inside the palace would be much harder imo but since it's still ep 2, let's see if they'll give a good reason.
people who are annoyed bc of hari's reason for constantly rejecting taemoo just seem like they're not trying to understand at all. haven't you ever heard of cases wherein the girlfriend/boyfriend of a famous idol/actor has been bashed bc ppl thought the idol/actor is too good for them and that they don't suit each other bc of their differences in looks, popularity etc? you do not understand society at all. plus although many of us have fantasized about dating a rich handsome man with a high status, we know it's not gonna come true bc we have our insecurities and we think we don't deserve it (unless you're very confident that you'll get one). same case for hari, she is very insecure and she doesn't think she deserves to have a highly admired man.
idk why ppl keep comparing the two couples and wanting hatae to have a relationship as steamy as the second lead couple. they are very different ppl and have different types of relationship
do you guys know who were the said actors who topped the poll on who fits kang tae moo?? or atleast the link of the poll im kinda curious bc ppl said ahn hyo seop wasnt even at the top choices
idk if i missed something but what was the bear for?? i remember seeing a glimpse of it once but what happened to it afterwards and what role did it play in the story
It's really a shame that the director's cut will only be released in blu-ray. For international people like me…
there blu ray chipins wherein the members will share the price and also pay a translator (in which i joined one but it's now closed). idk if there are still chipins on twitter or anywhere but u can try to find one
finished it! I'll give it a 7/10, because it was too slow and boring for me (used a lot the 2x button and fast…
i feel like you're rather hoping for a lovey dovey romance based on how ep 2 was your fave. but this was never supposed to be that kind of story :) there are other sageuk love stories out there wherein they'll love each other for most of the drama. king jeongjo's story had more time of pursuing deokim than time being with her. it's a 15 years: 4 years ratio (in real life).
Something I noticed about San's love. He wavers from being an adorable dork in love - the love is so healthy and…
king jeongjo did not force deokim to be his concubine, but that doesn't mean his love wasn't dangerous. there was even a record that he punished slaves out of anger to deokim because ofc he couldn't punish the woman he loved himself. we never know what else he has done. the writer tried to express yisan's dangerous love through those 2 scenes you mentioned (junho emphasized himself about that dangerous love). i don't think he's to be considered as a red flag because the time he was in wasn't the 21st century, patriarchy was very strong in his era. women had very little rights and court ladies especially weren't allowed to reject their owner (multiple times at that). deokim would've been killed if yisan didn't love her deeply. that's how harsh the reality was back then. if he was indeed abusive (atleast in the drama), then he wouldn't have let deokim decide whether to leave him or to be with him. forcing others to be a king's concubine is not a problem back then, but he didn't do it.
another thing, we never know how their relationship really was because we only saw jeongjo's side of the story through his epitaph. but we are not only following history here, the red sleeve is also based on the novel and that novel pictured yisan as an obsessive and selfish jerk who isn't as lovable as he is portrayed in the drama. it wouldn't make sense if they made him too lovable when he is the total opposite in the novel. i get your feelings towards him and it would've been more understandable if this was a modern drama. but yisan's character was never supposed to be ideal.
Can someone give me the summary of ep 14 to 17? I don't want to watch this anymore since o don't want to watch…
if u want a happy ending u can watch until ep 16 !! the ending there is very happy and lovely. it's quite hard to summarize everything that happened in ep 14 to ep 17. maybe come back here after u watched ep 16 and ill summarize for u what happened in ep 17 ^^
