Hi Sweetpea, can you check the drama called "Rewriting Destiny (2022)" is available in viki with eng sub already?…
Okay. Because its actually iQiyi drama but Viki took the license and iQiyi didnt air it internationally and it pissed me off. I hope viki will air it in my region also. Its not available yet even in coming soon list.
Lucky for Thailand. TrueID+ released it locally there. My problem with Viki is always about regional license. Not every drama released in Viki is available in all regions, they often buy regional license and only release it in certain regions.
Let me shout my complain first. Viki will release it with eng sub but its not available in my region. Usually viki only release some dramas in certain regions. Actually, it REALLY REALLY upsets me. Why iQiyi make it difficult and didnt release it in their international app? Or this drama is not listed as iQiyi productions coz iQiyi only air it in China like they also bought the license of this drama from other company? IQiyi international also didnt release the trailer. If this drama is really iQiyi originals, then logically, iQiyi will release the trailer and broadcast it in their global app like they usually do. But they didnt. This case is similar with Dont Be Shy (2022), iQiyi international also didnt air it but at least Viki make it available in many regions for that drama.
Nowadays I watch chinese period costumes drama and new historical korean drama (2016 above). Yes I heard Jumong is one of the best from older sageuks. I also try to watch Princess Ja Myung Go (2009) before.
I dont watch korean sageuks below 2009. I started watch korean sageuk from Queen Seondeok and Dong Yi era. Around 2009/2010 until now 2022. Oh, 2006 I watched Princess Hours (Goong).
This is political heavy and generally it has quite a serious atmosphere, so if you are looking for something like…
Thank you :)) you can read the full conversations and my other replies ^^ I already watched most of historical korean dramas from Three Kingdoms era, Goryeo and Joseon. Thats why I asked the things in the drama just to make sure my predictions coz i know the politics type of Joseon drama
not much actions - so far. But still it keeps me SO interested, especially the last few minutes of ep 4! If you…
The Crowned Clown and The Red Sleeve are good. I think they had more balance for both politics and romance unlike "Secret Door" and "Deep Rooted Tree". Queen Seondeok is the best for Silla era drama. Actually I already watched most of korean historical dramas. But my fave is still Moon Lovers and other dramas set in other dynasty (three kingdoms and goryeo) coz its more focus on the fight, battle, and game of thrones with direct strategy and actions. Joseon is not really my type coz its political centered with a lot of influence of ministers and factions. Mr Queen is my most fave drama of Joseon setting. It had politics but its so fresh because the main leads are funny and interesting. My Country New Age is also good because its the transition from Goryeo to Joseon. And a lot of fight and battle there. 100 days my prince is not heavily centered politics and mostly shot outside palace. But its so damn funny and heartwarming. So yeah, heavy politics with old ministers gathering is not my type drama. I hope its politics as interesting as The Crowned Clown at least. I will try this drama first after that I can judge it myself.

Yes The Crowned Clown is quite good actually. Especially if you loved strategy and political drama in historical setting. I also watch the movie. There is a huge difference between the two. I wont spoil it for you coz you wanna watch TCC. When the Masqurade sticked to historical facts in the end (because actually Masquerade was based on "rumour" in Joseon era. In King Gwanghae reign, there is 15 days when the daily records of Gwanghae was not recorded and it was very odd and unusual because King's life need to be recorded all the times, so the rumour was spreading that Gwanghae was replaced by someone and come back after 15 days). The Crowned Clown have more shocking fictional elements from ep 9 above.

Yes, as romance suckers, I tend to avoid heavy politics drama with many old joseon ministers were gathering all the times. But maybe i should give this one a chance. I still remember how hard for me to finish "Secret Door" and "The Crowned Clown". Coz its really political based drama.
Moon Lovers and Hwarang are fluff and pop. If the Hwarangs, as much as we love them, are all facepalm and toothpick…
70% is already a big part for historical dramas. Mr Queen is even less than 50% especially for the ending part. If you wanna watch something with 100% accurate then just watch documentary lmao

Thanks for the suggestion, coz I saw Moon Lovers in the recommendation, but after I read many comments below, they said its 100% politics and still have no romance yet ^^ this is the answer that I want. We may have different opinions but the way you are talking is more comfortable to read.
