Yes, you're right. We as viewers can never doubt her appreciation for Shiyi's presence, help and great qualities. I love it when she compliments him because she does it so sincerely. I've never felt that she's ever taken him for granted. Even in the later episodes, her number 1 worry was that she's using him or that he's getting serious and might get hurt. So yeah, she was blind to his romantic feelings but never blind to his care, I feel

Yes, some viewers thought so, some didn't. I personally didn't find it draggy, I never skipped watching it the first time. I love character driven stories and in many such cases, the plot meanders in order to give way to character development. Later, a lot of these scenes get a call back, like they come to mean something to the character later. So there are those flashbacks too. So, yes some people might find it draggy. And Xiaoju is the epitome of hindsight is 20 20. She admits everything by the end. I have learnt through this drama, and this is a very personal takeaway, that when a character is so self aware that they admit all their mistakes and basically echo everything that I was thinking in my mind about them, in their own dialogues....it becomes difficult to hate them or be angry at them. But again, that's very personal to me. I liked learning that about myself.

Omg even I don't like Shen Duo... She gets even more unbearable later (and in some deleted scenes). If you're at ep 27 , then you're right at the point of TT and HJ's big scene. And yes, large spans of time fly by here. In ep 27, shiyi says he helped her study for her change kf major several months ago.... So months and sometimes even years go through a time leap.

Haha i get what you're saying. They intersperse the romance line with other things going on in their life.... Their love line makes a very slooowww progress. There's a lot of craziness even after he confesses. Some of those are very funny though 😂

Well this is a drama after all 😂. But you'll find real people logic in most of their actions and motivations. They both do dumb and impulsive things but they make up for it quickly.

I started rewatching 25 too to reminisce about their cute moments in it. My college life wasn't too angsty either because I actually bunked college a lot 😂 I'd just be home by myself, so no scope for angst haha

Then you'll like ep 25 , it's mostly about her focusing on her change of major and shiyi helping her. She does have those sour puss moments in ep 27 too... After 27, all their angsty moments have to do with the evolving relationship between LSY and XXJ.

I know and I did like the CGI in the trailer tbh (I loved that whip thingy that the villainess has and their magic shooting from their hands) maybe Chinese viewers know better. Let's see how it goes, maybe they can improve it even further. The Photoshop of the poster does look cheap though.

Yes, the scene when he comes back after they're all grown up, professionals. You will see the earlier hints of his assholery but our girl can hold her own against him, any day. It's a really butterflies inducing scene, lots of sparks between them. Somehow, their interactions hit differently when they're all grown up, there's more grittiness? brittleness? roughness almost in their interactions. That innocent cuteness is not there anymore, lots of tension hehe. Their past is very much alive in the room too.

After finishing ARRTI I got such a hangover and withdrawal symptoms that I spent the entire month just rewatching and watching their couple edits on bili bili. In fact, I still do that to this day since I couldn't get into any other drama and I never tire of watching ARRTI. I discover something new in their expressions every single time haha. I confess I am obsessed.
Yes, we all were worried that the drama will follow the novel ending. I would've heartbroken, not even exaggerating. I got so invested in their story. And i was going to say in response to one of your other comments, but I'm also a serial binge watcher myself. I've only ever broken that rule for ARRTI, but once I watched a couple of episodes I couldn't stop. I used to wait desperately for the next episodes and tues and Wednesday used to be highlight of my week in those months since I got to watch the new episodes on those days.

Haha I'm not mad tbh, I like their love story. It takes a less than perfect route but the emotions are that much stronger and the relief and happiness is that much sweeter. Plus it shows that real life is not all peaches and roses. Save the surprise of their reunion scene though. Another scene that made me scream haha
