honestly i started to get sick of the fl, she was just so obsessed with cl for no reason. She claimed it was because…
I am not going to try to change your opinion but I do want to set a few things straight. I think she was hung up on cl till ep 27 was because he helped her, he was kind, gentle and outstanding in studies and sports and the biggest reason being false hope. She thought he liked her too in the beginning (and she says this to Shiyi too, what if cl likes her one day) . In ep 29 if you see, she says they've been together for 2 years, I've already let go long time ago, I just feel uncomfortable around them. The only time Xiaoju has gotten upset over CL and taken it out on Shiyi is when CL stands her up at the cinema. The biggest reason for that is Shiyi hurt her with his words when she was already down and insecure and feeling the brunt of being stood up by CL. Plus, she already knew that if she ever tells shiyi about her crush on cl, shiyi will say she wants a pie in the sky or that cl is too good for her and she is aiming too high (she says this to Tao in the previous episode and that's exactly what shiyi said to her at the cinema even though he didn't know it was cl) One cannot be blind about Shiyi's faults in the whole thing. Xiaoju alone was not responsible for their complicated relationship. Apart from this, I cannot recall any other incident when Xiaoju was upset over cl and 'took it out' on Shiyi (which again I wouldn't call rude when he literally goaded her temper and so she lost her temper at him because of Shiyi's words) The only other times she was upset over CL around shiyi was when she was drunk in ep 15 and the fireworks on hilltop scene (and she wasn't rude to him in either times) And the only other time she lost her temper and could be seen as rude to Shiyi was when she confronted him about the online post, which had nothing to do with CL and everything to do with the misunderstanding that Shiyi himself created in the library by saying he will make everyone know she is his girlfriend. (Which again he didn't mean at the time but xiaoju took it at face value and she later apologized too)
I have one more question - did Shi Yi ever get to know that xiao ju had called him and shen dou picked it and…
Actually, throughout the dramas there are many things that are not told to us directly but we come to know later on that the characters already knew (I think we're to logically assume how they knew, it's a storytelling technique that's used in a lot of books and movies) For egs, how did shiyi know that the reason Xiaoju was singing a song was to confess to someone (we have to assume that tao/huang jun told him) or that when shiyi and xiaoju have that beautiful hug scene in ep 19, we later come to know that shiyi knows about his blood phobia before that scene. It's not directly shown to us. We have to assume certain things by way of logic and character development. Maybe that's why, in the last episodes, they don't outright show a lot of things, like did cl tell shiyi about xxj liking him and then helping him set up that surprise at Tao's wedding.... Was it Tao who told him? Like logical assumptions can be made even if they're not directly shown.
I'm the same, I need some good recs to move on but I bet it'll be hard to top ARRTI especially with my current…
I haven't watched remembrance of things past but I want to. Need to be in the right mindset for it. A short form drama would be wonderful to watch before binging through all the episodes of ARRTI again.
YES! I think her acting is fine but I just can't stand her voice at times. Think her acting career could go much…
I just can't get past her deliberate and forced cuteness to even appreciate her acting. In a love so romantic, her character has a questionable arc but at least she doesn't have that pout and exaggerated gestures that i saw in I've fallen for you and moonlight, so I liked her acting in that.I immediately stop watching when I come across any FL doing that forced cute thing. It's cringe.
Please suggest dramas to get over ARRTI. The current crop of dramas seem so unimpressive that I'm really having a hard time moving on to a new drama. I am not a fan of youth dramas (ARRTI was an exception) or crime/thriller dramas. Rest everything is fine, have partial preference towards historical dramas though. P. S. : I will be checking out Wang Rui Chang's newest Dear Diary. Just waiting for it to finish. As a rule, I never watch on going dramas, love to binge through a series (again ARRTI is the only exception to that rule)
I wanted to watch this but the FL started talking and I thought she was a baby. She sounds like a squeaky baby.…
There are so many chinese actresses who do that to appear cute. I don't get it, being a baby is supposed to be attractive? Is it a cultural thing for them? I just find it so annoying and I instantly stop watching such FLs. The only actresses I've seen who don't resort to excessive pouting and high pitched voice to act 'cute' are Hu Yi Xuan, Yang Zhi Wen and Zhao Lu Si.
I like HJ at the start, then i dont like him but start to like him again after the breakup especially the last…
I think it really drives home the message of this drama, that we don't appreciate what we have until it's gone. That we should not take our good fortune for granted.
Thanks for sharing. She play the role of luo jin sang, read some fans said it's something about butterfly spirit.…
Their styling looks so good. I really like the colours. I am fed up of seeing all white clothes in the xianxia genre. These type of characters do suit her well and I can't wait to see her chemistry with the entire cast. I am really excited for this drama too because I have a soft corner towards merfolk stories.

Some more BTS with other cast members
Edit: Can anyone tell me which song is used in this edit?
