She went through countless time-loops to try to save him and finally died in his place. She stayed with the blind just turned human Ji Ling as a doll and even sacrificed one of her tails to save him. They went through so much together and not being able to save that Ah Wu is heartbreaking. Even in her last dying moments she was only thinking of Ji Ling, who couldn't be by her side. So yes, it makes me incredibly sad for that version of Ah Wu who couldn't be saved, because she is the one that deserves a happy ending the most 💔💔
