Ep 11 and I found happiness to a character I didn't think I'd like. 🎉Ye Ying🎉 I actually really like her character here. Spoiled but innocent. Impatient but willing to learn?😅. Unwilling to take any grievances yes, but not to the point of being cold blooded. And may not be smart but she does have knowledge on what her current situation is.
Yeying and Han Mingxi both sighed in relief is so funny. I maybe alone in this but I hope that Yeying could get a divorce from Prince Li asap and be the second couple with Mingxi, who clicked with her from the first meet.

I thought she was an idiot in the first 10 episodes, but I have a feeling she will become one of the more interesting and more capable characters as the drama continues.
She knows what position she's in now, she knows that her husband is disgusting and she's stuck with him (at least for now) and she didn't really want Ye Li dead.
She was also brought up sheltered, and has now been given a very rude awakening and is beginning to realize Ye Li wasn't actually the one at fault.
I'm expecting a redemption arc, and I think she'll end up being really cool, and that she and Ye Li will eventually become close. Could be wrong but that's what my gut feeling tells me :)
What if Yeli is scared of monkeys because there were monkey statues all around the Lishan people graveyard? She gets so overwhelmed by fear that she ends up biting her own arms, even had a scar
As for what happened to the Lishan people: The first is that it was the plague. The army might have sealed off the Lishan when the outbreak started, so no one could escape. People were trapped inside and died there, which could explain why they wore masks. There's even that scene where Yeli drags a body while wearing a mask, which makes me think the plague was a huge part of what happened.
The second is that it was a massacre. During the lockdown, something could have gone terribly wrong and someone decided the Lishan people needed to be wiped out. Maybe it was ordered by someone powerful, like the Empress Dowager

Though yeah, if you plan to read solely to learn the drama plot in advance, there's not much point so far given the current story of the drama.
