Were there other young female exocists that came to the house? Knowing the personality traits of paranoid abusers, I find it hard to believe that going into this situation would be safe. Even if Lu Chang didn't come, when she started snooping around, she would have been caught. She's not exactly subtle or risk adverse.

But this is a moot point. He needed to be there to investigate the case. She really didn't. Either way, it's a dangerous situation and luckily he was there to save her.

I think her acting was quite good here. She's natural and cute. There were moments where the tears were streaming down her face that looked beautiful but difficult to see because of the bright filters. I thought the directing for MJTY was pretentious with the over dramatic whispering, so that character didn't speak to me.

Sorry, I truly forgot that he came to deliver food to her. But it doesn't matter if he had came to the mansion or not. The guy killed multiple mothers of his children and has been abusing his wife physically and mentally, isolating her from friends and family. There is no way a psychopathic abuser like him wouldn't be suspicious of an unknown woman coming to his house.

Usually people are locked next to each other, especially if they are opposite genders. I mean, same genders don't share cells these liberal days, I can't believe they would back then. That's why I think this plot is contrived.

Anyways, I find his presence increasingly more and more unnecessary. He's not moving the plot along and I need this story to get more exciting.

Thank you for saying this 🥰It is really difficult for the actors. Many of the deleted scenes were shown as promos and BTS. Lots of eye contact and cute moments. The production knew these were the highlights because they advertised them in everything, but then ✂️. That's why fans feel cheated.

It's perspective. I find SML as the groundhog 😂. Especially since FL said she wasn't interested in him but then he shows up at their house, in the middle of their investigations, not understanding any of the players. He thought all the murderers were dead and that there was no danger. 🙄 The only reason why she said she is considering trying is because Lu Chang continues this sibling cover to protect her. SML has no right to ask Lu Chang anything because it's Lu Chang giving him a chance.

Their agreement was for Lu Chang not to cross "propriety". But he hasn't. But are SML's actions in line with "propriety"? Guy locked himself In a jail cell with her.
Their agreement wasn't for Lu Chang not to be around her. He needs to be there to protect her. He hasn't violated any of these terms. And what's SML's end? Promise not to tell her the truth. That only benefits him, it's no sacrifice. He even said he hopes she never regains her memories. Yeah, tragic suffering, but also because he knows she would love Lu Chang. He's never promised to respect her choice if she were Yi get back her memories.

The script was ok, many of her scenes with the ML were deleted. LYX questioned that herself during the livestream. As actors, you really have no control about those outside forces. I am disappointed for their hard work.

He publicly implies interest in her, which adds pressure to her decision.

He was still annoying me in the background with the editors repeatedly giving him reaction shots. He had 1 line in that trio scene with the nanny. "Who was that woman?" You're the only one who has to ask that because Lu Chang and Ming Shu already knew. Perhaps, you had no reason to be there.

She loves ML since Ep 1. Repeatedly has said she's not interested in SML.

21-22 were excellent episodes. 27 seems to be righting the ship again and I hear the ending is much more exciting when she gets her memory back. We've invested this much time, I want a good payoff. 😂

Ming Shu wants her memory because she wants to express her feelings for Lu Chang. Blink and you will miss that line though. Editors 🙄

Ep 27 is much better. There is finally movement of the main plot. Lu Chang is so capable, always working, always fighting for those marginalized by outdated codes, always thinking about how to alleviate Ming Shu's worries.

I probably am not understanding, but what gentleman's agreement? Get ahead of what? Get ahead of SML? Lu Chang saying that he will never hurt Ming Shu, whether as family or love, isn't crossing any lines and doesn't need to be reigned in. Especially since SML asked him what he would do if she remembers.

It's obvious that she isn't interested in SML, for his sake he should make a graceful exit to maintain the friendships. But I don't think he has that awareness yet.

That's true. But what right does SML have to tell Lu Chang to do anything about Ming Shu? What's his role in her life? Suitor. And instructing Lu Chang when Lu Chang has never failed to protect and nurture Ming Shu from the beginning. He has no idea what risks and sacrifices Lu Chang has done for her so his warnings, although perhaps well-intended, come off as ignorant and self-righteous to me.
