Have not started watching today's episode yet but something I noticed when rewatching ep 13 last night was that towards the end, HYS moved his arrow away from YWS towards Ziyi. So if Ziyi had given the signal to attack, he would have attacked her...So YWS saved not only herself and Ziyu, but also HYS.

I feel like YWS's identity is only going to be discovered during ep 18 - 20ish. But I'm wondering what happens to SGQ after YWS is caught.

Right? I really want to see him in other things after this.

I personally don't think YWS is in love with him yet. It's too fast. I think she likes him sure but she's not in love. Personally to me, the scene with HYS and Ziyi was not an indication that she's in love with him. It's an indication that she could potentially be compromised in the future due to a variety of factors and an indication that she is starting to grow feelings for him. So based on this, I don't think we the viewers are supposed to think that she's in love with him yet. Also, I feel like the confusion you feel about the extent of her feelings is what we are supposed to be feeling because YWS doesn't even seem to know herself. But this is just my opinion.

I was thinking this too because YS said that YWS is not "love brained" so I was torn between her protecting him because she has some feelings and her protecting him for the reasons you listed above. I feel like the above reasons make more sense tbh. I do agree that he does seem to be growing on her though.

I saw someone post on twitter that apparently there are rumors from the novel maybe that HYS is torn between letting her go and keeping her? Was slightly confused by that tbh.

Yes, "mother" was so proud. But then right after the exchange with GZY, Ziyi happened...this is going to be so interesting. I wonder how things will play out for YWS from here on out.

I don't think Ziyi was actually planning on killing GZY though. I feel like she was testing YWS. And YWS clearly failed. She wanted to see what the bond between YWS and GZY was/what level it was at, and through that entire scene she found out. That's most likely why she was smiling too. Because she found another weakness. I also arrived at this conclusion because she mentioned how the "younger generation" is different as she was surprised that YWS would come to collect the antidote for SGQ too.

Honestly, this interaction made me understand why SGQ said that wangs and liangs are more ruthless when YWS was asking her in the earlier episodes why she was so cruel.
