Tbh, reading the novel, I hated the male lead, and I still don't understand why she decided to love him in the end. She explains it, but it still makes no sense to me after everything she endured at his hands and the hands of his family. Still excited to watch this because I like the main actors, but if not for that...I don't think I'd tune in.
....I have to disagree with this last statement. He was so physically abusive and kept her against her will. Her falling in the love with him in the end felt very odd given the amount of times she's tried to escape him.
Exactly 👌🎯 speak your truth , I came here seeing the discourse like whattt, I wish this drama had more episodes…
Right! And the whole, "this would be solved if they just communicated" this drama is so much more than a communication issue and I'm not sure how else it needs to be spelled out for them. BJS and HRY view the world differently and so even when they do talk, things aren't easily solved because they don't have the same lived experience. Communication cannot easily solve something like that.
Tbh, nothing that was revealed shocked me. I figured that was the reason BJS wasn't there when she was suffering. Still doesn't take away from what she went through. Some of y'all are over here talking about how she only considered her own suffering. In the episode, she literally said she didn't know what to let go of and what to hold on to. She also decided against killing him and that it would be better not to see each other. Additionally, I would LOVE to see y'all go through what she went through and be forgiving and understanding. She was burned ALIVE, buried ALIVE, watched her baby die, her student die, her feet bleed, crying blood and all. Idc if she's a god, there isn't a single being in the entire universe who could go through that and not feel some type of way. Even Jesus had questions about his suffering, so please spare me. And don't at me, cause tbh, I feel like everyone always treats the characters Lulu plays as if they don't deserve to feel any of the emotions they are feeling. During TTEOTM, I was fighting for my life defending Li Susu.
I wonder what she said to him...cause it cut off...what will he know tomorrow? Omg...this is killing me. Also, I fear we won't ever see that man LY's head on a stick. It will remain intact...tragic.
Can you explain why they hate her? Genuinely curious
Because they are jobless. She hasn't done anything to deserve this, and tbh, a lot of female actresses that I like tend to suffer from this kind of behavior. It's so sad.
