Ngl, the complaints are getting annoying. Especially because, due to censorship, things are obviously not going to be exactly like the novel. And as someone already pointed out, if they cast a female lead who was more masculine-looking and more built, the public would not accept that. Y'all would still complain endlessly. If the female lead showed less emotion, you'd all say she was too cold, and Ik this would happen cause I've seen it happen before with other characters. Additionally, there are flaws with the male characters as well, for instance, the majority of them do not look the way generals/men in the military would typically look after training/going to war, etc. Their builds would be different, given the type of things they are going through. Also, a lot of them would not be as pale as they are in the show because they more than likely would be in the sun more often. But do we see anyone complaining about that? No, and it's because a lot of people don't care about accuracy when it comes to male characters as long as they find them handsome enough.
I can understand why novel readers are mad, but as someone who isn't a novel reader and didn't watch the trailers for this as much, it's not that bad. There are only 4 episodes out, 5 for some. I think people need to wait until at least the 10th episode before completely writing this off.

The fact that no one in nobility knows about them yet is laughable to me. Well, no one besides their friends and grandmas. But it's insane because they are always together; YC doesn't care about being affectionate in public, and he got her a house/car. Honestly, I'm hoping their relationship gets exposed soon so we can have a wedding sooner and put the crown prince's delusions, as well as that other Qin girl's jealousy, to rest.
Oh, they changed it. In the novel, she tried to kill QW by making her ride a horse that she made go mad. And then she got punished to kneel, and YC killed her favorite horse. I wonder what punishment she'll get for trying to kill QW by hunting her in the forest.
I also did not like some of her actions in this murder investigation . She preached to the apprentice that evidence…
She explains why though....she could tell from the progression on the victims body and the one on her cousin's that he wasn't the culprit. I get your point of view, but I really don't think that makes her 2 faced. Especially since that cousin is only a concubine born son and the family would have absolutely thrown him under the bus to protect that evil uncle.

Also did you guys see LZ's face....I feel like she didn't just feel sad because of LC's clear obesssion...I also sort of feel like this was probably one of the few times she's seen her father's true form.
