I'm reading the novel and it is enemies to lovers troupe, not the blind love like you said. What he did in the…
I never said anything about blind love in my comment. I said that the male lead is a pos and the female lead loves him anyway meaning that despite what he did to her in the beginning, she eventually ends up loving him. The man raped her and planned it out as well and then tried to play it off like it was not intentional when it was! That is simply unforgivable in my opinion.
I compared this plot to vertical dramas because this type of plot happens a lot in them. The female lead will initially hate the male lead (rightfully so) but in the end she ends up forgiving and loving him despite all the things he's done. Isn't that what's happening here?
I love enemies to lovers but the fact that this story starts off that way it does is weird. This is the first time I have read a novel that an upcoming drama is based on where the first couple of chapters is about a rape scene. So it rubbed me the wrong way. Nonetheless, like I said, I still plan on supporting the drama because I like the actors.
See this comment that a Chinese reader of the novel made:❤️Egret, the writer, does not deliberately pursue…
This comment does not excuse what he did tbh. I know he's not supposed to be a good/moral character but a flawed one, but this character is still messed up. I'm still going to watch the drama when it comes out but tbh, the whole thing gives me vertical drama vibes.
I read the first couple chapters of the novel...the male lead is a pos. Tbh, it's giving me the same vibes of those vertical dramas where the ml is horrible and the female lead loves him anyway. I hope they change somethings because I really like the current actors listed for this and want to support them.
I saw it on twitter but I forgot who posted it. It's also on weibo. If you copy the chinese name for this drama and type in weibo afterwards into google it should come up. You can also try searching "filter cdrama trailer" on youtube.
So who created the book? Cause that ending... I want to know who is behind all this...And before you guys comment her dad, rewatch the ending with the little boy.
Wait guys...didn't the emperor's eunuch die? He was there again in the last episode...maybe he didn't slash him across the neck but the chest instead?... Can someone verify this for me?
What actually happen in the novel? I also read some sick stuff like the emperor drugging and raping Hua Zhi or…
I'm glad they made changes to her character especially too because I was wondering how they were going to fit in all those plots but it tied in nicely in the end.

Yeah that's a show only thing. In the novel she just does everything she does because she's obsessed with power. That's why I like show HY because her actions aren't selfish. She's somewhat respectable.

In the novel she reincarnated. She was married to him in her previous life which is how she's able to predict a lot of things in the novel. Yeah, I'm not describing the concoction she made correctly but that's essentially what it was. Also, she's not tbh. Because you find out later through investigations that YX does when he gets back that the emperor most likely had some ideas about what was going on. So he's the most evil still. He enabled HY. She's so much better in the show. I actually like her somewhat.

It's a very long story but in the end, HY ended up feeding him some tainted blood poison soup thing and she'd been giving it to him for a while. So he died and at the time, YX wasn't around. His death was satisfying because he got knocked down a bunch of pegs and HY gave birth to a "faceless" stillborn baby which felt like, to him, that the heavens were punishing him for "eating other people's children" since the blood came from the heart of young children she bought and imprisoned in the palace.
That's why his death was better in the novel because in the end, he realized how stupid and alone he was. He didn't see through HY's tricks, he got played by her, and HZ/empress dowager is what saw through HY.
I am sorry but only HZ and HZ is to blame for that. She took it upon herself to poke Hao Yue in the eye. Two times.…
No the only person to blame for that is the emperor. That man is acting like a scorned lover. He is the reason all these misfortunes are happening not only to the Hua family but his people also. He's not a good person and is very selfish.
