They go to a banquet with the emperor etc and there the stepmom and her sister setup a trap for 'JL' by putting something in her drink to frame her/get her to lose her innocence to her cousin, Ye Shi Jie. She doesn't drink it though, she gives it to her cousin Yu'e who willingly takes it. Then there's a scene where Yu'e meets up with RY's finance and they sleep together cause he thinks it's 'JL'.
