I am currently at episode 5 and like i wrote in my first comment this show just scream Damage Control to me by how much they improved quality. The leads also don't love eo at first sight and there was no random I love you deux ex machina so their relationship progress in really nice way. Intership bit is also very relastic. If you have any memories from your won job hunting and first job it will definitely bring back memories

yup, i think you put it really nicely, there wasn't much of plot to begin with and by removing their psychical relationship they also delated main seeling point of manga
I was curious so I checked out manga, turn out skin-care drama from episode 2 and some other plot points are faithful to manga... but they still made some changes - our 2 leads had s*x in the first chapter, glad they changed it since it was hardly consensual but there was no reason to swing so much other way and make them act almost like blushing virgins. If they were already making changes they could also improve plot, I am sure anyone working in cosmetic sales could share some interesting stories. I also have kinda of problem with Mamiya character, his styling and behavior just don't match someone who would be successful in his industry. It's his dream job so its hardly believable he would not try to be more stylish ( In manga he kinda is), him acting kinda gloomy and childish also don't suit someone who would be popular with clients.

Finished and I kinda like it but I think they made big mistake in storytelling. While backstory was very important it shouldn't be told from Non POV, it will lead only to victim blaming as I wrote in comment above - level of stupid decision-making is kinda hard to get over. The big switch between a typical slasher story to a revenge backstory was also kinda hard to get used when I already knew from slasher part they will not end well and with just few minutes of episode 5 it was clear our group of friends was not angels. I think if they mixed backstory with slasher part like in episodes 9- 11 it would make drama overall better while telling Non story from perspective of bullies as they remember their own part.

I don't think cute show is the problem, Off is pretty smart and know their domestic fandom is pretty young so cute rom-com after Not Me is very smart move. The problem is as one of main GMMTV pillar ship this show just screams cheap, cliche, badly directed and edited. So in a way fans thinking CC is beneath offgun is not that wrong, if this show had a production value of MSP for example no one would have anything against cute/fluffy - the problem is this show is amateurish

I think you look at it from wrong side, people are harsh because they know offfgun can do much better. but main problem is still with directing that is pretty bad....

No idea how to rate this series... so i will probably not. I felt like my brain cells left me as I watched this show, on one hand it have some good ideas and plots but the amount of BS in between almost buried it for me. This show was definitely overcrowded and if I needed to pick some message from it it would be something like - Rich bottoms have fun with poor tops, they destroy what they want to validate their feelings but don't worry in the end only poor people will pay price. You can argue that its much deeper - trauma, kink etc but above message still apply no matter how much the scriptwriter wants to gaslight watchers.
Ok after good night's sleep after watching binged 3 episodes and realizing its would only be 8 episode series I must admit I am not wholly convinced they will be able to wrap up all the plotlines they throw at us in these 3 episodes, so we might end up with very rushed ending or open ending...
Solid 6. Nothing bad but nothing particularly good either. The acting MVP of this show was definitely Grandma, while Ohn once again played Dean but in baker persona this time. They really should let him act something else because he is definitely type-cast at this point.
I really like it, it give me triage feeling - there definitely was some inspiration. But at the same time something stopping me from loving it 🤔🤔 there is something off in script because directing, acting and editing is 10/10 till now
