Just because it's not your cup of tea doesn't mean it's bad. I'm sure if you let other people know what dramas you like, some people will say they don't like some of those dramas. As you can read from the comments, some viewers are actually enjoying this drama. People have different likes and dislikes. If you don't want to be flexible or to expand your horizon by trying other types of dramas at least be respectful of others' preferences.

i also cringed at the jokes in starry love. but the difference is that the cringe factor here is part of the joke. Shu Yi is clumsily trying to be sophisticated like her friend, pursuing a guy for revenge. But because she is acting out of character, she is doing a bad job of it - being very tacky and cringey, ending up being outrageous and funny 😁

ahhh, giving iQiyi a dose of its own medicine when it aired a drama starring the same lead in a currently airing drama? 😄 it's David fighting Goliath though. I just read that iQiyi's market share is probably 7 times MangoTV's. that's why iQiyi is looking like a bully cutting into MangoTV's success.

i really admire Bai Lu's and Wang Hedi's restrained acting here. In the hands of overacting performers, this could have turned into slapstick comedy. Shu Yi is a quirky character - she's smart but can be too bold and impulsive. Shi Yan's calm demeanor balances Shu Yi's quirkiness.

i watch one complete drama at a time, but i can watch 2 ongoing dramas (4 hours) each day, sometimes more on week-ends

yup, it's her friend's silly idea. but Shi Yan is only letting her because he likes her. he hasn't forgotten her name from 3 years ago, meaning she left a deep impression on him. he chose her to be the one to interview him. i'm sure if it's another girl who tells him she's pursuing him, he'll firmly let her know it's a no go

that's one of the funniest things in the drama. The way she is pursuing Shi Yan is so tacky, no finesse at all 😄 That's most probably why Shi Yan does not want to take her pursuit seriously, though sometimes he can't help responding to it

she is hilarious. not even the obvious scenes, I'm amused by her less noticeable movements - the way her legs were wobbling after Shi Yan let her down the horse, her bravado when she walked to the office the morning after getting dumped, the way she plops on her office chair - I didn't realize what a natural and brilliant comedian she is

Haters. It seems the three shows that started last week, Rising With The Wind, Love is Panacea and Only For Love got targeted by haters. Their ratings all went down to 7.9, but are climbing back up.

I'm really enjoying the madcap cat and mouse game the leads are playing. She is boldly but playfully pursuing him, he is lowkey but seriously pursuing her. It's wacky, but they make me laugh and swoon, so i'm all for it. I applaud Bailu and Wang Hedi for creating such quirky but lovable characters. They're comedic geniuses 😄😍 I love the restraint they're observing in their acting so the comedy does not become slapstick. Yet you'll howl with laughter at Shu Yi clumsily trying to be a femme fatale and Shi Yan not bothering to hide his jealousy 😄😄😄

she's funny though, she reminds me of Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones' Diary. rather shameless but funny 🤣
