No they are not. Eternal Love - Ten Miles of Peach Blossom is Bai Qian and Ye Hua's story and is the first drama in this series. Eternal Love of Dream is the 2nd one - the story of Bai Qian's niece.

TTEOTM is a bit unique in that it has an antihero as the main lead in a xianxia so there aren't exactly many like it but here are some recos:

Haha I had the same reaction when I watched AOL the first time. The FL(or VA not sure) had such a high-pitched voice. I had to get used to it.

Yeah many do but not this one since the romance and politics are interspersed.
Maybe try out political masterpieces like Nirvana in Fire and Joy of Life S1 and S2. Romance is a minor aspect.
Investigative costume dramas like STOTD like suggested above are good, too. 😊

Something just dawned on me. With SH's arc it seems like the drama is reinforcing karmic debts being paid off by the children of the sinning parents. If one is weak enough (Duo Meng) or makes bad/evil choices(Song Han), they will have a bad end.

That's why Zhaozhao is awesome! She doesn't deliberately harm people and just wants to live a good, peaceful life. You will have one with Momo, DZ. In the writer, I trust!

I don't think he hates Song Mo per se. Ji Yong was born unfeeling but he did say that the person he cares for the most is Duo Zhao (his childhood bestie/soul mate). Since Song Mo is taking away his soul mate's attention and her life is at risk by associating with SM, JY is not a big fan of him. 😅

I am a fan of this director, too! I checked out A Familiar Stranger coz of Cheng Lei but stayed because of the director's prowess. I also loved A Killer is Also Romantic, Destined to Meet You, Immortal Lover, and
Butterflied Lover. Planning to watch Provoke even though I'm not a fan of Republican era dramas. 😆

LOL I was surprised when I started watching those coz there's some lip and even tongue action going on. Got too used to fish kisses in long form Cdramas I guess 🤣🤣🤣

10. Familiar Stranger is so good! Checked it out coz of Cheng Lei but stayed and binged many of the director's dramas coz of his directorial powess. Happy that he is getting more recognition in his long form debut with Blossom.
