Good news for the drama! Despite being a relatively small production with no liuliang(traffic star in China), the views increased from 10M on the 1st day of broadcast to 31M on the 2nd day. Heat index has broken 27,000 already. Got good reviews on directing, cinematography, etc.

I knew this was gonna be good but their chemistry exceeded my expectations. I binge-watched ep1-8 today. I want mawr!!! 😂

Right off the bat, one can tell that it has great cinematography. The clarity, angles, use of color and lighting are brilliant. The pacing is well-done with compelling storytelling. I like Dou Zhao's gumption and cleverness. Song Mo seems reckless at times but he is also smart. Their looks are really compatible but Song Mo with silver hair was so gasp-worthy. He looked straight of a manhwa/anime. 😳

Now the agony of waiting for new episodes begins. 🤣

It started with Hu Ge's Blossom in Shanghai which was a commercial and critical hit in late 2023 and early 2024. Other dramas changed their titles to follow suit.
Before that the character 长 was popular, with several big dramas having it in their title like TTEOTM, LYF S1, Destined, etc. 😆

Ohh it must be good then. Try to watch other dramas first like Blossom since you're in for a wait.
For some reason, I am not into Kdramas now. Maybe, I'll check it out after it's done airing. 😅

CDL appeared in LGIEF(one of the best Cdramas this year IMO) for an ep and she was praised for her beauty. She is okay as a villain but yeah I cannot adore her the same as WYF, too. 😂
Fox Matchmaker was boring so I dropped it after a few eps. Haha! She was in Fangs of Fortune and I guess she was fine there. The cast is so goodlooking and the cinematography is great. I already know the ending so I dunno if I will continue since I'm only in the beginning eps. 🤔

when TTJ 2.0 would "eat" other demons' energy to gain more power, that's making him become more evil, yes?  -> YES exactly! You nailed it. That's why I couldn't understand when some viewers said that he is all "good" because he was not. Once he got the taste of power from consuming the female dream demon, he loved the feeling of power and he continued to consume when provided to him by his cohorts(esp. the priestess from his mother's tribe). Even though it was indirect, the demons like you said similar to humans were killed and sacrificed for TTJ's gain of power.

This was another scene that was cut out. There were picture leaks taken during TTEOTM filming of what supposedly happened to Mo Nu and Gongye Jiwu. She saved him and took him to a forest. That's it. 😂
Maybe they had their HE, maybe not. OE is this drama team's way to go.
