I never knew that a couple was responsible for the modern Cdramas I like! Go Ahead was so good that even my mom who doesn't like watching dramas watched it with me. I watched The Day of Becoming You coz of Steven Zhang and it was ok. Meet Yourself is on another level though. The stories of all the characters were poignant, real, and touching. The cinematography was spot on and the ending was pretty solid, too. I will check out their other works that you listed here. Thanks for writing this!
This is almost unprecented that S2>>>>>>S1. I just watched this 2 weeks ago and rewatched it again today coz I missed Wan Peng's chemistry with BTH. 😂 They have gotten so comfortable with each other in S2 so their interactions, hugs, and kisses are so natural and wonderful to watch. They also totally committed to their roles that they were comedic when needed and heartbreaking when called for. Fang Leng certainly cried his heart out and Xiao Qi was so discreet in her sorrow. They are most beautiful when together. 🥹 The other two couples are also great! The icing on top is the epilogue with the cuties. Wishing for S3 like XQ said!💕💕💕 Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate! Gong Xi Fa Cai! 🐉🎊🎉🎆
