When I say I love this show so much like everything abt it was great. I like these type of shows & bai Lu is the…
Definitely! The natural chemistry between Lulu and Xixi is one of the selling points of this drama. They are also both acting powerhouses. No one and I say no one could have replaced either of them.
Season 2 would be awesome but highly unlikely considering 👖didn't even bother to release extra or cut scenes. Boo! 😝😂
Already impressed with the OST before starting. The story is moving from the beginning. The ML is great in playing…
Hi! It's great that you loved TTEOTM as much as we do. 😍 Just saw your Q about Sang Jiu. She annihilated evil TianHuan's clan (tit for tat I say) and used those immortals' divine essence to make the World Alluring Jade. She wants to use it to bring her father and brother back to life. This divine artifact basically has the power to overturn heaven and earth which could disrupt the heavenly balance, so the divine lightning punishment came for her. This is also the reason why Ye Xiwu got the divine punishment in the tower scene after she used the WAJ to make a divine essence for TTJ.
LOL at your comment about DG's gloves. Do you know that Lulu really wanted to have gloves like those during filming? 😂
There are many theories about the ending since it's an OE. Personally, I think a sliver of TTJ's remained in the Heart Guarding Scale. After hundreds of years, as per xianxia logic, he can have a physical body again and be "reborn". He'll have his chance to reunite with LiSusu and their daughter A Mi.
C-humor is on another level 🤣🤣🤣Credit to ChillVms->>>Sang Jiu's clan members 🐚 are picked up by kids…
Saw up to ep6 and will catch up on the weekend. The story is good and the pacing is just right. So far it showed the childhood to highschool days of the young gen as well as the changes happening to the families. That's it. I won't spoil anymore 😂
Northward is great so far! It is very obvious that they took so much care with the cinematography, color grading, and scoring. It reminds me of those older Euro films with the soft intrumental music playing very softly in the background. The shots and transitions between periods and scenes were impeccable. Since I'm a 90s kid, the story gives me so much nostalgia - reminding me of a time with our neighborhood being more like a family with the oldies chatting and eating while the kids were running around playing. The casting is spot on, too. It is a good mix of veteran and upcoming artists. Can't wait to see the shenanigans our Flower Street gang will be up to. 😁 All in all, I'm really enjoying this slice of life drama. It is a good change from xianxias/costume dramas. 😁
Long time no see, Tantai Jin and Li Susu!

TTJ is THE blood spitting king with 60 blood spits in 40 episodes beating out Cheng Yi's 56 blood spits in 59eps of LAR. 👑👑👑 🤣🤣🤣
This first count by @Alice was based off of unique blood spits when TTEOTM first aired. 😁
Perhaps, Charley can lead the rewatch. I'll do it for days she can't - like Apr.18-20. 😁
Just finished watching Always Home, a youth cdrama, and now catching up on ep8 of Northward.
Till now, I'd say
Reply 1988 is still in my top 5 kdramas.
The kids in Northward are naughtier though haha!
