yeah, I also figured she basically threatened to hurt him if they didn’t let her go with him. My issue is why he believed she would hurt him fr. But as a viewer, she really might have- but I felt she wouldn’t kill him. Just hurt him a bit. She certainly doesn’t understand consequences yet and someone has to teach her (the marquis is on it already lol)
This is what I wud say is the dumbing down of the female character to low key glorify the male character... Especially…
She’s not dumb, she’s just rash. She has been rash from the start. The stakes are just higher now and she doesn’t understand how careful she needs to be about the rules of war and what not because she doesn’t know what those are, how they work or that you need to be careful about that. She’s used to just getting things done asap. She’s like any other person. She excels at some things and struggles with the others. She’s not perfect just because she’s the FL. It was foolish yeah, so she has a lot to learn.
He’s always acting like he’s worried that she doesn’t like him like him but he’s is about to punish himself to punish her lol. Of course I know it’s also because he doesn’t want to punish her but it can only work because she cares so much. Truly a strategist. She will not be joking around anymore. Kneeling there and yelling about the military laws, his energy is totally different. You can see how heavily and seriously he takes his responsibility. He even scared his subordinates. Anyway, all this explains why she gets really mad when she finds out. Plus, he had a few good moments to tell her about it today. He’s just being a chicken about it. I get him though, damn. The lie is so big now, it’ll break her heart, so he keeps putting it off, but that will only make it worse.

I think he must also feel that a lot of people around him have to care for him because he's a marquis, but she thinks he's some random guy. Even if there are lots of people around him, I don't think they're trying to literally provide for him. It's pretty funny and ridiculously adorable. She's like, "Don't worry, I'll feed you!!" She dotes on him quite a bit and likes him for him, without knowledge of his status. After everything they've gone through together, he knows she means it 100%, with no conditions (provided he isn't lying, which he is lol).
