You know what? They should have made the current lazy demon king the 2nd male lead instead of Feng Qi, because Feng Qi has noooooo character whatsoever. At least there would have been an interesting subplot about a lazy playboy demon king falling for a girl who's equally lazy and just wants to chill. Also, him facing Sima Jiao would have been fun [of course he is weak, but at least he is a demon king]. Then the villains should have made him believe that they want to marry FL with him, so he should kidnap her [in reality, they were just executing their plan like rn]. Feng Qi is okay in the plot, but like, how's the snake to Sima Jiao? Loyal and indebted—Feng Qi should have been the same...But they made him the most annoying and boring 2nd ML ever...like I want him to disappear ASAP. He did give us 2-3 jealousy scenes, but your job is over, my guy... Sima Jiao is so charming that we don't need forced jealousy to feel the chemistry.

Bhai I am so glad the forced killing arc didn’t cause any breakup...I mean, at least FL is smart enough to understand that ML belongs in a different world where he has to kill people in order to survive. Loved when ML agreed to not force her again to do stuff she hates, uff...I was so scared that it would cause some angst, but yayyy, writers are smart.

100% agree! Japanese dramas always do this—reviving villains or giving them a second chance. I’m so fed up, like pleaseeeee.

They believe in cause and effect, so every bad action is tied to some childhood trauma or whatever, and I just can’t digest it. In one drama, a girl literally bullied another girl to death, even tried to set her up for SA through her boyfriend. But oh no, poor her—because her mumma was a bad mom, that’s why she did all that.

And by “bad,” I mean her mother was a principal who ignored bullying. So now she felt wronged and started bullying others… and somehow, by the end, they painted her as a victim. I hated that.

BUT THE PACING WAS SEXY. So tightly packed. I loved the flow.

And the ending? Legit perfect.

You could have simply said, I don’t agree with your choices, but here are mine, instead of implying we were just pushing our favorites + we were trying to make people comment etc.

But we did put in some effort—fan articles like these are slowly disappearing. This article was written a year ago, and getting people to comment is absurd lol 🤣 doesn’t really make sense tbh because It’s a voluntary article, and engagement on it means nothing—we don’t get paid, nor is anyone judged based on likes or comments- It’s purely out of interest 😭
