There were quite a few things but mainly I think it just totally lost the plot and its charm. It turned into "I have to save the girl from imprisonment/torture" every episode rather than focusing on the potential of the intrigue between the bridal mask and the kishokai. I think it was disappointing because it had potential and set up a really interesting story, but seemed to give it up in favour of this one female character who was frankly poorly written (in my opinion)
p.s. I've since calmed down from my initial frustration from this drama since I dropped it XD I think ranting helped a bit but I sounded a bit harsh, sorry.

Beware of imminent disappointment! The high rating is very misleading and I'm very upset about how terribly dreadful this drama is. I'm not telling you to not watch this drama, you might end up loving it because we're all different, just please don't start it believing the high rating! Disappointment is one of the most painful things when watching dramas. It's lovely to find a drama that's unexpectedly good but no one's ever happy to find out that a drama they've had high expectations for is abysmal.

Is Who Are You good? I wasn't sure about starting it, because I love Kim Jae Wook so much more than Taecyeon, I don't know if I could handle him being the 'second' guy... :P

I'm watching quite a few dramas that are still airing atm, which isn't something I usually do :P I can't stand waiting for a new episode each week!
Master's Sun is the drama that I'm seriously enjoying right now. The characters are perfect and the story's original, so I've got high expectations for the rest of the series!

Is it just me that feels that HaeWoo's character just really ruins the drama? She can't do anything but cry, I wish the female lead had a bit more strength to her character.

That's AWESOME Rentrer en Soi are my second fav.! I only heard about them as they were disbanding unfortunately, but I bought their "best-of" album Ain Soph Aur and fell in love, they're amazing!
My other favs would be Golden Bomber (coz they're so hilarious), D, RADWIMPS, some Jpop, some Kpop ...
