I've noticed that Youku is so lazy when it comes to this drama. They have no interviews subtitled when they usually do.

It's actually the cutest thing ever. We get some really good scenes from it.

I don't want to leave just yet so I'm holding off on a few dramas.

I have the Chinese Youku, so yes, I'll be catching it live via the app. Absolutely can't wait. They'll have different camera angles. I want to watch all of them at the same time but QinTou has my heart.

Omg, in just a few more hours l, we get to see the CPs live. I was on an early Easter vacation/spring break and come back to so many updates and goodies! I have so much to catch up.

I think CXX and ZXC are friends but probably not super close. Saw an old group photo of them together. Yeah, if ZXC's official club came out to deny the rumors then, most likely he's not dating LLD. Fan clubs have direct and private access to the celebrities, so they always triple check before saying anything. They're probably exes. That photo of them eating out and hugging a few years ago was pretty evident they dated in the past. Oh well, CXX and LLD are so cute together. They're in their own world when together.

Yes, they're buddies. CXX, ZXC, and LLD all attended the same university but different years. It's a small world.

Yeah, I'm still shipping although CXX and ZXC are buddies. ZXC is such a hottie, too. I can see why LLD would be dating him. They're both funny and smart.

It's probably Landi that brings that part of him out. He's always joking and laughing non stop when she's around.

CXX and LLD are literally their characters, always joking, roasting, and mischievous together. I can't stop watching their interviews together. They say the cheesiest stuff to get the other to cringe and laugh.

Too bad CXX doesn't attend such events often like Weibo Night. LLD will be there and so will ZJY. Lol I want to see them together all dolled up.

I haven't found time to binge FIL yet but I've watched the MVs and boy, they have so many good kissing scenes. Lol

Yes, those two are linked. However, like you said, "idol drama" doesn't have as much of a negative tone to it than an "idol" as in artist. An idol drama seems to be more of a genre. A lot of the newbies start there. I've been following Hu Ge for quite some years, he has many times talked about being an idol actor versus an actor. Even after he graduated from the Shanghai Theater Academy and enjoyed immense popularity, he was always trying to prove that he was an actor, not just an idol. There were incidences where being an idol hindered him from getting projects because of how the directors and producers viewed him. If there wasn't a negative undertone, I doubt he would've tried to get out of that label. Artists who are in the industry for the passion and art, not just for fame and wealth, don't want to be an idol nor do a lot of idol dramas, even when they're young.
