Why are people calling the anesthesiologist SML when he’s been here for two seconds?
Exactly my point lmao He is literally just a passerby that just made his entrance to help Dowon (aka our ML) take the next step forward because he obviously needed a push ><
Just finished today’s episode, and some of y’all seriously need to calm down about the new doc’s appearance! Based on the cast list alone, he’s neither a main character nor even one of the major supporting ones. He was introduced after the halfway point of the series and to me it’s pretty obvious he’s only there to push the Yiyoung and DoWon romance forward, basically to get DoWon to stop being indecisive and finally make a move. Classic cliché honestly 😂 I really do hope though that this short-lived love triangle wraps up by the next episode so it doesn’t drag on. With only 4 eps left, I’d rather they focus on developing Yiyoung and DoWon’s relationship properly and give more focus on the other main cast too instead! Because from what I’ve seen in interviews, Jaeil is supposed to have a love line with one of the other two girls (my guess is Sabi) so I hope we start seeing more hints of that! And am I the only one who thought Nam Gyeong’s moments with the intern were kinda cute in today's episode? ><
Basically FSM trilogy is based on a popular game and it first got adapted into donghua and now into this cdrama trilogy! So donghua fans know already what happens...And in LIP based on spoilers onlt ML and his son survive from the important characters (like FL and her sister, the whole mask squad etc.)
Really can't believe I'm seeing all famous actors/actresses in China in one Drama.. This is epic 🔥every single…
I’m pretty sure this also has to do with the fact that FSM franchise was filmed back in late 2022 - early 2023. That was around the time many of today’s rising stars started gaining recognition through their works airing and began landing more lead roles in C-dramas that aired over the last 2–3 years. That’s probably why so many of the supporting and guest stars in this drama feel familiar now! Also, since this is a major IP adaptation ofa popular game series, it likely seemed like a great opportunity at the time for up-and-coming actors to gain more exposure. Still, I was pleasantly surprised by how many recognizable faces appeared here like you! It’s great to see them thriving now in their own series! Oh and another reason we probably recognize so many of them might be because certain actors tend to focus on specific genres. Some appear more frequently in modern dramas, while others are more often seen in fantasy/historical settings. And with idol dramas like this one, it's usually younger rising actors who are cast, since the roles often require that youthful energy. And later as they mature and establish themselves in the industry, they often branch out more into different genres.
yes, The senior of DHZ is on FSMM1 and WQHY is on all 3 series but different actors
Oh idk about them...Maybe they will survive if they stay out of the storm and continue their quiet life in the woods...I just know that FL & every member of the mask squad except ML will die...FL's friend and her kid are kind of minor characters, so they might survive?
wonder how a righteous person like hongye who fight will all his will to save the world become a cruel father…
Hmm maybe his wife dying while giving birth and losing almost all of his friends and family broke and twisted him beyond return...However, I didn't know he would be a cruel father to his son in S3, that's sad... 😢
Guys as someone who has dropped RMP but still knows a few things from watching the first eps I have some questions...Don't these new netherworld demon lord and the black demon fox also appear as villains on RMP hunting down Yuechu (DHZ's nephew)?? And if so is it because both FL and Yunchae have the divine blood?? Here the netherworld demon lord said that he wants to use FL as a vessel body for the black demon fox who lacks one and that she was the most compatible...
How is it so far??Is it as bad as Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red-Moon Pact or better?? No problem with spoiler.
Personally, I found it much better than RMP but I wouldn’t recommend going in with too high expectations. Just watch it with an open mind and you’ll likely enjoy it! While I did notice some issues with the script and editing for example on a particular arc so far, the overall composition, acting, and CGI were handled far more effectively here overall.

Yep most characters in this season will die...From spoilers I saw it's confirmed that FL will die and ML's mask squad (his sis and the fiance plus the other guy friend) will all die except him. Basically, so far only ML and their son are confirmed to make it alive to S3...
This episode 10 made me realize that there is a serious need for a evil fl righteous ml combo. Not talking fl…
The blossoming love maybe? At least the first 10 eps or so cause I haven't finished it yet cause it started dragging around ep20smth for me and lost interest...
I have had that question myself yesterday lol But since this is a wuxia where human limitations are questioned and reaching new heights, I guess he has some magical ability to see through it or it's a magical artifact with double functions? Like tinted glasses lol
Hmm the new latest arc with them time-traveling has to be the most interesting part so far for me and I kinda love seeing FL in dark mode haha >< That aside, the part that didn’t quite land for me was definitely the groom and crab demon arc. It had potential, but I feel like it could’ve been handled much better. I get that they were aiming to heighten the emotional impact by making it a case of “too late to save,” but the execution felt a bit off. The villains’ plan came together too conveniently, and the whole thing ended up looking a little silly. Also, I found it hard to enjoy the sweet moment shown between the main couple in that episode when we’d just witnessed those torture scenes minutes earlier. I assume they were trying to balance out the tone but for me it just didn’t work. And don’t get me started on the pregnant bride living alone in a hut in the mountains… As a noblewoman, even if she cut ties with her family, she should’ve at least had some trusted maids with her. If that wasn’t possible, she could’ve used her own money or her husband's dowry to hire someone. Living completely alone and secluded while pregnant just didn’t make sense. And her friend (FL) only dropping a few baskets of food and other stuff lol
On a brighter note, I was so glad to see Hong Ye finally reveal his other identity to the FL, though I wish he had done it sooner to avoid some of the unnecessary misunderstandings between them. Still, I’m enjoying this way more than RMP or any other current airing wuxia I’ve tried. The overall plot, CGI, and acting are great, so I’m still on board. Just hoping the writing and editing tighten up a bit more as the story progresses! ^^
Well it's because the anime is about reincarnation. All the couples have bad ending in the ancient time and their…
Oh i see...At least it makes sense now, thanks for letting me know! I knew this cdrama franchise was based on a game but not the plotline...But since they ommited the modern part cause of the regulations can't they at least change things for the final season 3 to a happy ending sigh...This season seems it will be too sad with many deaths but since i have liked it way more than RMP I will stick with it haha Even if i cry...
So am I to assume that this drama will take the Fangs of Fortune route? Cause it seems that the SE won't end with the main couple but with most supporting characters as well? This is so sad since I have already come to like and become attached to this after just 6 eps! The quality is so much better than RMP, but the angst is just as intense...At this point, I just hope S3 can serve both in terms of quality and a happy ending to close on a nice note!
Seeing all the deaths that is happening left and right already, I need to prepare myself for everyone's death--except…
Wait...So everyone except ML and his son will die?! I knew about FL dying while giving birth but not about all our other side couples and characters...Just why? TT This will be surely very tragic to watch...
1. Sad ending.2. Milesssss better than red moon pact.
Oh, I see! It was her dying while giving birth which means FL and ML did manage to get together in the end, but alas...That's sad but I would say not as tragic as my imagination was running! Thanks for letting me know. I am already excited for their son's journey with Chengyi. Hopefully, it will turn out even better than this season (since the first was kind of a disaster and this one is better by far) and with HE this time.
