They should have at least included him in the scenes in Ding‘s house when they were working on the fragments because that was his purpose and goal too.
As far as I know 龙 used alone means dragon, only in combination does it mean dinosaur, but I‘m no native speaker. Anyway, for me it’s a dragon. It looks like a dragon and a dragon fits the story way better than a dinosaur. As they don’t live on planet earth but a fictional planet who says that there weren’t dragons around in a past era.
I find Siyuan repulsive. Maybe you should drop it if neither the ML nor the story work for you.

Totally agree about BoP, dropped it too! I‘m really picky but I was so positively surprised by Key to the Phoenix Heart. It’s very fast paced, the political plot is very interesting and has several unexpected twists, the romance is beautiful and pure. Maybe you’ll give it a try.
The actor playing grand tutor , though a veteran in acting I think he didn't do a good work here. He's bad okay…
I find the character so despicable and repulsive and I think that’s also due to the over acting. I wish the character was written to be more grey than just despicable and portrayed a bit more likeably.
