This is not a revenge drama like the Double. It’s a case-solving drama. I dropped the Double but very much enjoyed this one. Legend of the Female General airs on 6 August, it’s supposed to be a revenge drama.

Omg thank you for saying that. I am glad someone else feels the same way. I kept waiting for it to get better…
Well people have different tastes. I watched all episodes of prisoner of beauty and while it was a good drama I find CD way better. Prisoner of Beauty was shallow and the tragedies in the final episodes were forced, also the ending felt rushed and unsatisfying. I‘ve rarely seen a drama that ties everything together as neatly as CD at the end. The romance was also way more mature and satisfying here. I‘m not a „fan“ of either lead actor/actress, so that’s just how I really feel about the drama.

Absolutely agree with you. I dropped MM on the first episode too because of all the leads honestly. Here I was ready to drop it but was so pleasantly surprised. I came here for LLD but ARP is really great too and their chemistry is perfect.
