In the coming attractions for episode two Khanin says to Charan that he wants to go back and be with his father. That indicates that he survived. In fact we don't even know if he was hurt since we don't see what happened.

In addition Saksit Tangthong, The actor who plays Kanin's stepfather, is listed as a supporting actor in the series. If they killed him off in the first episode he would have been listed as a guest.

I haven't read the novel but I'm optimistic that we're going to be seeing more of him.

Even if that were true I don't think a series about Pit Babe being pregnant and not racing would get many viewers.

Racing cars and being pregnant are pretty much mutually exclusive activities. That would have a serious impact on the plot.

That's only sexually. Charlie seems to emit wifey vibes in many other ways. Waiting at home for Babe wearing nothing but an apron? Come on.

I already finished watching it about an hour ago. In the IQIYI version They had some military sounding song at the end of the first episode. I like what they did on YouTube better. On YouTube they played the OST Above sung by NuNew.

I only watched the end of the YouTube version for the coming attractions. On IQIYI they put the subtitles over an ad and I couldn't read them. The subtitles are the only thing I really hate about IQIYI.

I don't drink, but it played at 11:30 am Eastern Daylight Time, so even if I did drink that would be too early for me.

I have the yearly IQIYI subscription and I always renew it a little earlier when I get the best deals.

At $70 a year US it's a little less than $6 a month. I think my Netflix subscription is $17.99 a month. I've got a lot of streaming services and I have to say I don't keep account of what each one costs but that's close.

Just shows you how cheap it is to do things in Asia compared to the US. That's a little less than $2.5 million US.

You would not even be able to film a single episode of TNP for that amount of money in the US.

I've had an IQIYI VIP subscription for a long time. I don't know how currency conversion works in foreign countries but the subscription cost is what you would consider really really cheap in the US.

The cut versions of the episodes will drop on YouTube as well but not until the end of the series. Only episode 1 will appear on YouTube for now. Also only the cut version. But if you really have no money for a subscription to IQIYI you can just wait and see it in a few months.

I went back and looked at the interview. He actually said nine figures not 10 figures, which is only 100 million baht or $3 million US.

You could barely film a commercial here for that much less an epic film like this.

If that's the case he probably could have easily funded it just from the fan base.

But does IQIYI have free trials of their VIP subscription. That's what I have, and it's the level of subscription you will need to watch TNP.

I don't understand foreign currency but I pay less than $100 a year, I think more like $70 a year for VIP level. So that's less than $6 a month.

It's been years since $6 a month would make a difference to me but even as a student that would be easily affordable.

I had IQIYI VIP for a long time. It's so much better than Viki. I do have both.

But that's not why. They've only been filming since August 2024. The reason it took that long to start filming was getting investors. In the documentary P'Aof said that the filming budget is almost a billion baht, a little less than $30 million US.

Plus they needed to find and hire artisans, clothing designers, and scout out locations for the project.

Filming is taking longer. In another interview Zee said that there will be close to 70 Q's. So far they've only filmed 56. So they are still going to be filming this thing while it airs.

Should be on IQIYI and a little less than 2-1/2 hours. Looking forward to it.

IQIYI has a TNT place holder for the series as of today. Already bookmarked it.

Both of them show amazing character development.

To start with Lian was the way he was because he thought he had to prove himself to Kuea and the Keeratis that he was successful enough to support Kuea through his life.

On the other hand Kuea was putting on an act in front of Lian because he thought he wasn't lovable as a singer in drummer. He thought that Lian would only love him if he was the perfectly behaved young master.

In the end they both came clean and learned how to communicate much better.

Although Cutie Pie 2 was kind of boring IMO there was none of this miscommunication, and the two of them worked out the intricacies of Kuea's booming career and their commitment as life partners.
