I dont know why some are getting mad at your comment your points are all valid. Especially how they established…
I don't know what culture you come from but I would be very creeped out if a stranger was invited to stay in my house, much less one who was stalking me.
Poor kid had been lied to his entire life by the person he loved and trusted most.
I dont know why some are getting mad at your comment your points are all valid. Especially how they established…
The hostility seems reasonable to me. First this weird guy is stalking him and he doesn't know why and the next thing he finds him in his living room and his father telling him that Charan is a guest without explaining why, or at least without giving a reasonable explanation.
Khanin had no idea why Charan was there until seconds before kidnappers broke into the house with guns and knives.
I dont know why some are getting mad at your comment your points are all valid. Especially how they established…
It wasn't just because Charan pointed out a weakness in Khanin's fencing technique. It was because Khanin thought he was being stalked and the first comment he got was criticism of his fencing technique from a stranger.
I might judge before knowing the whole story as we only have seen one episode yet... but I am getting the feeling…
Thatdanai, Khanin's stepfather was hand selected by the King to raise him after his mother was murdered. It's pretty obvious that he loves Khanin, but he also had instructions on how he was to be raised. He always knew that one day Khanin would return to Emmaly to take his rightful place in the royal family.
The poor ratings here for TNP have to be from haters of one kind or another because the rating on IMDB is 8.9. First time I've ever seen an IMDB rating be higher than MyDramaList.
One thing I noticed that people are adding this version and Uncut version both in watchlist, What should be do?…
The cut version is only available on One 31 which is a Thai television channel. Also has no subtitles. So at this point most viewers watching are doing so on IQIYI which is uncut with subtitles in the language of your choice.
After the last episode has aired it will become available on YouTube in the cut version with subtitles, one episode per week.
It took me a minute to realise King and Charan were speaking in code language at the beginning😅
I got it right away, but it wasn't until I rewatched episode 1 that I noticed a light bulb going off in Charan's head the moment he saw the tea setup. It seemed like he already knew what was going to happen.
1) bc paul isn't thai in the show (he even asked nunew what he was saying at some point)2) you can just go watch…
I'm pretty sure that the character of Paul is in more than one episode since the actor is listed as supporting. If he was only in one episode he'd be listed as a guest.
so it was not recently filmed? why was it released so late then ?
Who is changed out for besides Thomas and Kong (for Net and JJ)? Delays in production conflicted with Your Sky, which is why they were no longer available to film TNP and replaced.
The premise is that Khanin grew up in London with his stepfather and didn't know he was of royal blood. So Thai…
The actor playing Paul is Thai. Didn't get the idea that he was supposed to be British and I just assumed he was playing a kid from another Asian country since he didn't understand Thai. I never read the novel, but I didn't see anything in the episode that would lead me to believe that this character was supposed to be British.
so it was not recently filmed? why was it released so late then ?
The pilot was a 9 minute teaser to interest investors. None of that footage will be used in the series. NuNew didn't even have his hair dyed back then. It took a couple of years for them to get the budget together and that's why it's taken so long to air the episodes.
I wonder if native English speakers viewed that differently than non-natives - I kept thinking "why are 3 Thais…
The premise is that Khanin grew up in London with his stepfather and didn't know he was of royal blood. So Thai could have conceivably been his first language since his stepfather is Thai, or I guess Emmalian.
As a native English speaker I am able to tell that NuNew didn't have a native sounding English or American accent for that matter. And the only way he probably would have been able to do it is if he went to an international school as a kid. There are a lot of Thai kids who came from rich families and speak unaccented English because of that.
I have a Thai friend who has lived in the US for 20 years and speaks fluent English but has never been able to get rid of that accent. It is very hard to do as an adult.
So no, NuNew did not have a convincing English accent, but it was a very small part of the story and not something I would get all upset about.
On the other hand Charan wasn't supposed to be a native English speaker and his heavy Thai accent was not out of place. I thought Zee did a pretty good job especially since he's struggles with English a lot more than NuNew does.
If you're not a Zeenunew why would you even watch the first episode much less comment here about it? Life is too…
And that would have made sense but you started out saying you don't like the pairing. If you already know you don't like something just move on to something else.
It's not like you made a critical comment about why you didn't like this particular series or this particular episode. So I see the only one around here being toxic is you.
Yeah, I think the pacing was a little too fast.Charan getting the mission, arriving in London, meeting everyone…
Charan didn't have to search for Khanin. The king already knew where Khanin was living, he was the one who picked the man who would act as Khanin's father until he grew up. That's why the king told Charan to pick up his Earl Gray tea in London. 🙂
7.9 is crazy low. y'all just hating cause that episode 1 is solid af
It's up to 8 now, but this episode is the background. Sets the stage for Khanin's return to Emmaly, and why he was brought up a certain way to start with.
It also sets the stage for the inevitable romantic relationship between Khanin and Charan.
I thought it was a great episode but I can see some fans being disappointed that there's no pomp and circumstance in the first episode, or at least very little of it. And of course very little heat between Zee and NuNew since they've just met each other.
I'm pretty sure the rating will go up in time and 8 is pretty solid for episode 1.
Poor kid had been lied to his entire life by the person he loved and trusted most.
I was heartbroken for him.
Khanin had no idea why Charan was there until seconds before kidnappers broke into the house with guns and knives.

It's taken a long time to produce because of the budget needed. Took them quite a while to get enough investors.

Life is too short. Go watch something else.
