Love conquers all

This drama now holds a good spot in my go and rewatch list. Both Zao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan are amazing, even Victor Ma was good. Loved the story line, which is soft, fluffy, full of sweetness, beautiful songs and sweetness over all. No hateful characters. It's a story of a struggling but a nice ML and a mischievous, manipulating 14 year old who slowly grows into a fine woman. Whose love is unshakable and pure. Goes all in. Eventually both ML and FL stick together, very healthy relationship once they are together, who loves and supports each other.
If anytime you feel you are down and you just want to experience sweetness this drama is for you. This drama to me, can competes with Love O2O. There are very few dramas where though they are not very realistic but gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling. Well in a way it feels realistic, when you love someone you want to shorten the distance and want to become the best version of yourself.

Tepid

I went into this due to ML and FL. Starting was good MLs and supporting cast was good. Half way through the series i started getting annoyed with FLs attempt to control the ML and she trying to compete in the bureau. There are so many plot holes that it is obvious that they trying to force the scenarios. Romance part is okay but no chemistry. FL is acting like a spoiled brat and it keeps getting annoying and it never ends. Li Yi Tong for the first time i felt she does not have much range for emotions, he r acting was tacky. Biggest plot hole is in the last episode won't disclose it here but you got to watch it. Ending felt rushed. I was frustrated it suddenly ended.
Good part is Yang Shi Ze rocked the look and part of prince Wen Ying, looked dapper.

My two cents, if you have nothing to watch then watch this .

Angsty and too long

I am big fan of Dylan wang and i continued watching only because of him. FL not pretty and acting is little forced. Later episodes are dragged and too long. Very angsty. I wouldn't watch this again. I don't know why everyone is raving about this. If you are not a fan of Dylan Wang skip this. Story was bit new, music was okay, acting was awesome and also direction. Nice cinematography and somewhere humor also. I was annoyed by the servants of ML and FL so annoying. Too many filler scenes. This drama could have ended in 24 episodes but no they had to drag this.

Definitely watchable

Before i started this show i have been avoiding to watch it becoz of some -ve comments. I am glad i watched it. It was a new plot and after watching Hyena i have started liking Law dramas. It was not as good as Hyena for me but it was still good. If you are putting off just like me, go watch it. Nicely executed and definitely awaiting season 2. It was nice seeing Kang Tae Oh as main lead and i appreciated the acting of Kang Ki Young. It was difficult role to perform and have to shout out loud for Park Eun Bin.
What i didn't like - It was getting little draggy towards the end.

Slow burn but good

I am sucker for slow burn dramas. The execution was flawless. Story was good with good number of twist and turns. I am surprised a the low rating. Yes the ML's i have seen them for the first time. FL didn't do well with her acting as her range is not so good.
ML range was okish too. the characters around the ML's were good and all of them had a good screen time.
Just give a watch, its definitely watchable!
I was looking for a good drama and didn't find any so gave this i thought to give this one a try. This year has been bleak in terms of good drama and specially at year end.

Slow burn

I am a Lee Jun Ho fan so obviously i am going to watch it. Story is based on the traumatic experience of ML and FL. This is very much a slow burn and the pacing is very slow but good plot with good acting cast. All the actors did wonderful job in this drama. All the characters had such strong and powerful presence that it didn't feel like they are supporting cast except of course less screen time.
Character development for ML from violent to taking care of himself has been very slow but it happens. FL is strong with good head on those shoulders. Story is very emotional so get ready with tissue box and it is heart breaking at the same time. Just hang in there it is a good one. As usual i binged watched it but i hardly fast forwarded any scenes. I loved the value of relationship for ML and how human values are important no matter what.
It kind of instill a good faith in new though you are going to experience range of emotions while watching this show but at the end of it's still worth it.

Overrated. Not a relaxing watch

It started with a bang. Pace was also good, story and plot was good, acting was good all in the beginning And then towards the end it started dragging and that's when everything went down. It became confusing at some point trying to understand if the FL really loves our ML or not. Stone face is not acting. It's a torture of 1st grade. Heavy story . Jun ho definitely good acting. Beautiful costumes, i binged watched this and regretted it. If you are like me who loves to relax this is not for you. But if you are in to something serious watch it. I felt i wasted my time. I think the rating is too overrated or may be people like the feeling to feel traumatized.

One of the best wuxia/period C-drama of the year.

I am going to keep this review short and sweet. Loved loved and loved the drama. I am big Xu Kai fan and this will be my fav Xu Kai drama now. I loved the FL too in this drama strong and sassy. All the other main and supporting characters were very well portrayed. This drama is just awesome, i don't know why i kept postponing to watch this may be because of what it said in the description. This drama was fast pace for most of the time except in between it became slow paced for some 10-15 episodes when Haouchi comes into picture. I watched it full in its entirety without fast forwarding and it has 49 episodes. Of course i binged it. Just go and watch it. I wish they would have given a little more insight at the end of in their lives trying to keep the spoiler away as much as possible so go and watch it.

Easy watch when you want to feel good

Main leads both are fantastic. Allen Ren is trying different roles and his acting is very nature. He is not dashing but a cute type. Bai Lu is one of my favorite, she got good acting. She does not over do or under do and this role fits her the best. I liked the drama where there were no unnecessary misunderstanding or villainous monstrous enemies. I liked how main leads understood each other. It was not a sizzling chemistry but not too bad also. Every thing about this drama is what it should be. I haven't watched one and only becoz of the sad ending but you don't need to watch one and only to watch this. This story was able to carry itself. Also i liked that the FL had a good dressing style unlike other dramas. All and all when you are feeling down go watch it, its easy to watch and predictable.

Refreshing!!

I started watching this because i couldn't find anything but once i started i didn't wanna stop. It is a good drama. Evan lin is a surprise for sure. He's got some acting chops and Wang Peng is good. Acting was not forced. Plot is kind of new as ML is shown as blind guy. I liked conversation between them. ML does not take any offense when female lead states obvious from time to time about his blindness, their relationship was open in sense FL didn't walk on eggshells regarding his condition. Sometimes she left things messy which harms the ML but he takes it into the stride. Of course the story is not very relatable but it is a very good watch.

Surprisingly a good drama

I like to watch anything related to martial arts, if you are like me this drama is for you. Our ML and FL are really cute together. This story is modern coming of age but setting is oriental. One of the highlight was the dressing of FL - it was rea fashionably decent and she rocked it. Most C-drama tend to show female with shabby dressing sense, where pants are more like pajamas. Thankfully this one was an exception. You can see this was a high budget drama with lots of eye candy actors. ML is shown perfect 10 on 10. Story is predictable but it is still entertaining, moments between lead couples are sweet specially when they are bickering with each other. Our FL is not a helpless damsel in distress though ML is her knight in shining amour which is both refreshing. She is confident, keeps low profile, kind at heart and talented. For ML you can see he falls for her in the very beginning when the first time he smiles because she is threatening him to beat him up. LOL It was quite funny. FL may come across annoying in the beginning but she is consistent and she will grow on you. I found the drawback as it was not executed well, otherwise this would have made a big hit.

Full of fluff overrated drama

This drama is about people in writing and publishing business. ML is an author who is young and popular and female lead is an editor and slowly climbing the corporate ladder started as an intern. i am surprised that this drama is 8.4 rating. The story is total cliché full of fluff. 1st ML and FL Ryan Ding and Ether Wu does not have chemistry on screen. Ether Wu's role was very confusing, she comes across timid but she acts brave and is outspoken sometimes, sometimes she behaves like a crazy women with no sense, sometimes she when she is none of above she is talking like a child. She is ambitious but relying on all three leads for her success. Ryan Ding portrays typical author who is aloof and cold and minds his own business but in reality he is kind and often misunderstood. His acting and character he played was at least consistent. 2nd ML and FL leads have good chemistry and mature roles. I liked them both. Most annoying thing for me was the background music, which was so loud and plays all the the time even when there is a dialogue going on in front back ground music is not subtle and completely unnecessary. If you have time to kill, watch it, otherwise you can pass this one.

Need patience to watch this show

I started this show with not too much expectation but i was surprised. One thing was this was my first show where i could see airport operations. i am not sure i have ever seen people giving so much tough time at the security gate and i am a frequent flyer but i guess every country is different or may be it was just all made up. I liked the story and dedication of the leads towards each other. there are many nice lines and scenes i liked . It resonated a bit with everyday life of a human beings. Everyone has their own demons to fight and it was portrayed nicely in the drama. It is easy to tell someone to get over your fears but no one is without fears to them, their issue is the biggest. I was getting little worked up when both leads are keeping their secret to have the perfect memory of each other and then finally they went ahead and showed the side which can create lots of differences. I like all the characters in the drama very relatable and dialogues between the characters also made sense from time to time. When i was watching this i felt i have to visit this one more time as this is kind of slice of life type of story to me. Struggles showed here were real and i really liked that part. It has my positive vote.

Flying under the radar!

This drama is definitely flying under the radar. Loved the acting and chemistry of the both the ML. Story was so so but it was played really well, character development as the story progresses can be seen for all characters. The understanding between the leads and the development between their relationship was slow and steady. I felt could have been more sweet and intimate moments. That is where i thought it was bit lacking. Otherwise i think i am going to watch this again and again. Jung Hae In has a soothing personality someone who does not have to try to smile face which is always smiling. Chae Soo Bin i liked her too, i have watched her where stars Land and i think she acts well. Its a good watch have patience.

Funny

Strong ML and FL along with strong side funny side characters. It does not happen often where i get a good laugh but this drama has everything, strong chemistry, predictable story, no damsel in distress FL and Handsome ML with mysterious capabilities, comic scenes, good supporting characters. I kept watching this without break so i can say i had fun watching this series and though its predictable but it has its own individuality to the story. Acting was good and i liked badass FL with i don't give a damn attitude but at the same time, she is practical, logical and a loyal. ML is shown as lacking humanity but he only cares about our FL and those parts are super funny.
