I haven't watched this one, but there are quite a few dramas where I feel the same way!

I've only seen her in Reset and she was so good. I was surprised to find out how young she is and how long she's been acting. I don't think the commenter cares about who she named. She's just trying to boost her favorite in the least effective way possible.

If she hasn't spoken publicly about these actresses then you don't know her opinions on them and therefore you're not helping her extend the truth to anyone. If she's any kind of decent person she would be ashamed to have you as a fan.

Since you're helping her extend the truth to everyone can you link to where she spoke about these actresses who have no ability to act?

I think you're right that the default is Female for gender as I didn't list my gender and I just checked and it says Female. But when you said "I am actually a guy" in your comment it makes sense that one would believe you mean you are male.

I wish we could see S2 written and filmed by the S1 team. I feel more and more let down by the change in teams.

It's funny how so many people wanted a dark Shen Yi. I don't really get that. I like innocent and sweet Shen Yi. But I think for S2 I also would have preferred dark SY to godlike SY who knows what everyone is thinking in their deepest soul and pretty much solves cases all by himself.

Thanks for posting this. I just watched and I agree with her. I don't see technical things, like the way scenes are framed, the way she does, but I find it so interesting and I wonder how it subconsciously affects the way I view the drama.

I really liked her take on the ending where Shen Yi and Du Cheng are at the pier talking and then sitting and then SY spreads his arms out. I felt the same type of embarrassment that she talked about. It was just such an awkward scene. I saw some people going crazy for SY talking about DC being the center and he (SY) was flying or something because DC would always bring him back. I thought that was silly and besides, that's not how policing is supposed to work.

I also liked when she talking about how shipping points were subtle in S1 and felt forced in S2. Everything seemed a little forced in S2. I wish we could see how S2 would have played out with the original team.

What makes you think people aren't offended and outraged by your "Not Offended By" list? It's completely possible to be offended by many things at once, although offended is far too mild a word to describe all the issues you listed. People talk about, rage and try to stop these things all the time.

I don't find anything wrong with being angry when a drama uses a current situation in which people are dying/being injured and maimed, being displaced, losing loved ones, starving, etc. inappropriately.

Yes, yes. Police work is drudgery. They don't show nearly enough of that.

And Shen Yi constantly having to be rescued by Du Cheng is beyond ridiculous. Was SY teaching his art class (when does he actually have time to prepare and lecture?) while basic police training was happening?

So glad I'm not the only one finding this season stretching credulity. No wonder, as someone upthread said, everyone looks so gloomy. Worrying about whether SY is going to survive his breaks with protocol would make anyone gloomy (and annoyed).

It's really funny, isn't it, how people can watch the same show and come to completely opposite views on what is happening. Happens all the time and it never fails to fascinate me.

Yes to everything you said! I couldn't believe how ridiculously godlike they made Shen Yi. I was getting so irritated with him which annoyed me because I love TJC.

I agree with your analysis of this season. If there is a S3 I don't see how they can pull Shen Yi back from the direction he's headed so it might even be worse than S2.

Haha! Desk duty would mean Shen Yi drawing endless detailed pictures from a 1-inch shadow and the tip of an ear along with a full psychiatric evaluation!
