You translate everything literally??Watch the context, dude!!The "school" is not as much a school as it's the…
I think you're referring to the place where Jiang Li was sent away. I was talking about where Jiang Li competed for the top prize playing the instrument. And obviously not a modern school, but it had all the typical fighting of a school. Anyway, your comment made me laugh!
A school drama? Too funny. And why is a 34 year old playing a 16 year old school girl? And how old the the Duke…
They seemed to until the end, at least the ones who were scheming and sadistic and crazy. I don't think I've watched a drama with this many downright evil people everywhere. And everyone blamed Jiang Li when their nefarious plans went awry. No one, including the husband until the bitter end, took responsibility for their actions.
Tf is that ending. Chinese dramas and unaliving people for no good reason. mtchewww
Haven't gotten to the end, but I read what happens (I like to be prepared). I'm already so mad that they killed off Tong'er and then to find out that the Duke's two adorable companions are going to die just about makes me want to quit watching. I've really got to stick to happy dramas. I can't take the heartache!
Ep. 28 I'm so mad. I knew this was going to happen.
That evil Royal Diviner tried to kill Jiang Li and instead killed Tong'er. All because of the sadistic Ji Shu Ran. At least now they know the extent of her evil, but still. Why Tong'er? If the turtle dies I'm going to have to have a word with the writers! That would be a step too far.
Ep. 29 This is ridiculous. Saving Ji Shu Ran because her father is going to pray for her? This is one seriously messed up system.

I don't really mind too much, because the drama is so good, but it's always funny to see school dramas with characters who are in their teens played by actors who are so much older. Usually they're in their 20's. 30's is really stretching it.
Wang Xing Yue is quite an amazing actor for someone so young. He must have really impressed to get cast for this part. He really does have an aura about him.
Other than the age issue did you enjoy the drama? I'm on episode 17 and I love it, but it's so stressful seeing how the rich and powerful get away with so much.
A school drama? Too funny. And why is a 34 year old playing a 16 year old school girl? And how old the the Duke supposed to be? Because he's 22. And the adorable Tong Er is 16. And what's with the psychomathic princess? She's almost making me feel sorry for Shen Yu Rong.
The hairpin ceremony was wonderful (ep. 5). I'd never seen that in any costume drama before. Boy was it a doozy!
I loved how Jiang Li turned the tables on her evil stepmother and the other evil members of her family. And how she got out to even go. Her cousin is a hoot! This was the most satisfying revenge scene I've seen.
Just started watching this (on episode 5). How did I not know that along with the drama it would also be so funny!
Those maids! So cute in their scheming. Duke Su's subordinates. So adorable. I love the humor giving relief from me wanting to strangle quite a few people (looking at you, Dad. What a lying creep.)
A drama that stays true to the real meaning of it's existence. Even though I don't tend to like politics I found…
I like the way you've described what this drama is truly about. The love story is great, but really just one of the way that the role of the historian is explored. And that was what makes this drama so fascinating. " This drama is dedicated to justice , unbiased reality and honour. Nothing more nothing less." Truly a story worth being told and it was told so well!
What a delightful drama. Hu Wei was adorable and played many different characters so well. He and Xu Meng Yuan were the cutest couple. I wish more dramas were as creative in their story telling as this one is.
